Story
This sweet girl is named Jazz. She is 9 years old. My family rescued her as a puppy from New Orleans which is how we came up with her name. She is very loving, sometimes a little too much, she doesn’t know the words personal space. She has a very gentle spirit, never once been aggressive towards any person, kid or animal. She will alert you though if there’s a knock on the door or if she sees something that doesn’t belong. She snores like a grown man and loves stuffed animals Unfortunately, life has threw some curve balls in my direction and as much as I do not want to do this, she deserves somewhere that she can be inside, and someone that has more time to give her. Up until the past couple months, she has lived in a place with a doggy door and a fenced in yard. That would be best but she is also great with a leash. She had surgery to remove bladder stones in January so she does have to be on prescription food. She is up to date on shots, she is also on flea and heartworm medication.

My family adopted me about 7 years ago and when Hurricane Helene hit we lost our home and we were gifted camper. 3 weeks ago lightning struck the main cord and now they are staying in a hotel that doesn’t allow animals. I love my family and don’t want to let them go but life is lifing and I have to.

Story
Blackbird (as I call her) is a young pup full of energy who loves to play. She is very smart, and I feel like she understands some verbal and non-verbal cues. She plays well with my kids and with cats, but sometimes needs to be redirected to play more softly (she is a typical pup). Since she is still a pup, she is not good around birds of any kind. She leaves them alone while I am with her, but can not be left unsupervised with them. A little backstory on Blackbird: we have had her here for over a month, hoping to place her with a family rather than take her to an animal shelter. She was found with her sister and brother (who have already found homes) wandering near a busy road, trying to keep up with their mom. We took them in hopes of finding them homes. We are desperate now to find her a home. We cannot keep her much longer for many reasons, but we would also hate to see her spirit broken by ending up in an animal shelter. I think she would do best with someone with a fenced yard.

Meet Moomoo! He is a very sweet and loving dog. He is roughly around 6 years old. He was found abandoned on the side of the road as a puppy, so we do not know his exact birthdate. Moomoo is a special dog with a level 4 heart murmur. Though, with his energy levels and love of play, you would never be able to tell. Moomoo would be very happy in a family home with space to roam and play, he would love a backyard to lay in and soak up the sun. He is a dog with a lot of personality and loves attention.
