Story
I adopted Nova from the humane society when she was 10 months old about 13 years ago. She is calm and old and very slow moving these days. She is sweet and used to children and just needs someone to love her in her older years. Our family is going through a divorce and selling our home and the new landlord does not allow pets. She needs a home in 2 weeks. I’d be happy to pay a family a hundred dollars to pay for food for the first couple of months just to help.

Story
I originally rescued Shanti when she was very young probably about six weeks old from a very bad situation. I had her for a few months, but I travel internationally so I rehomed her to another family that had another dog her age. They had her for four years and then contacted me while I was out of the country that they were going to euthanize her because she had a lot of medical stuff going on that they could not tend to. I flew back to the United States to pick her up, took her back in my care rehabilitated her. I spent over $7,000 to rehab her. I havhad her now for three years, but I travel all the time for work within the country and out of the country. Since my work and travel is not slowing down, the most compassionate thing I can do is find her a more steady grounded home. I have lived with her in Utah for a while in California and now I’m in Hawaii and I do have to leave Hawaii in a few months to travel for work again. She will be eight years old in a few months.

Story
We originally adopted him from HARF, he was found in the bushes and had parvo. We had him for about a year and a half. He was about 4 months old when we adopted him. He is very afraid of everyone and everything. He really needs someone with a lot of patience and maybe experienced with dogs with high anxiety. He seems to do pretty well around other dogs, I feel he would do great with a confident dog to show him the way. He has very high anxiety and barks a lot at new people. Once he gets to know you he is very playful and love able. Has never bitten anyone but will for sure bark and growl at you until comfortable. He gets afraid of the wind on walks and seeing people. He will drag you back inside and refuse to go on walks, somewhere with a yard would be great for him. He definitely has some behavior issues that we haven’t been successful at training, we try our best but both work a lot and are very inexperienced with this.
