Meet Kahlua and Blaize — two sweet, loving 5-year-old pit bull mixes who are searching for a new beginning after the heartbreaking loss of their owner.Their owner passed away unexpectedly this week, and these dogs have been left confused and grieving. Neighbors have been caring for them temporarily, but they urgently need a stable foster or forever home.About the dogs:• Kahlua — female, approximately 80 lbs• Blaize — male, approximately 90 lbs• Bonded pair — they are very attached to one another and we hope to keep them together• Blaze had his right eye surgically removed last year due to an infection, but he has fully recovered and is doing greatThese dogs are affectionate and loyal, but they do need the right environment:• Must be the only pets in the home• Have never been around children• Best suited for an adult-only home or experienced dog owners. They are older dogs and very calm teddy bears that are used to laying around. Do not require a ton of exercise!

Story
white and tan mutt that we are unsure of her breed we were told she is a German shepherd, pit bull, lab mix but she is small and weighs at least 20-25 pounds. She’s 1 and some change (estimated birthday 8.13.24) Loves playing all day long! Definitely has napoleon syndrome and is the biggest dog in the house if you didn’t look at her size lol. Always has the zoomies outside and inside the house. Still kinda in puppy phase and likes to chew on socks and crocs. Ideally I think she’d do good in homes where she’s the only dog because she likes to be the center of attention lol. Never been around cats or children. Mostly barks when she sees strangers but has never been aggressive towards anyone! Knows to sit. Crate and potty trained but will have excited and nervous pees still. Biggest cuddle bug and eater. Loves being outside running and playing. Has lived with other male dogs her entire life. Has met children briefly and had no reactions or interest lol. Very Sweet dog!

Story
Meet Jackson (M) and Sadie (F). We adopted these two dogs overseas in Germany from a Romanian rescue group 6 years ago. Jackson is 9 years old and Sadie is 6 years old. These 2 dogs are bonded together, and we would like to see them be rehomed together. They are honestly great dogs that are energetic, nice, and protective of the home who are great with kids and young children. They are smarter than you think and are always trying to find a way to escape, but they always come back on their own. They can open some doors, will climb/hop over fences, electric fences do not work. They are hard to contain and need space to roam free. They also have a very high prey drive and like to chase wild animals including cats. We would like to see them go to a good home that are willing and able to give them the time and exercise they need. They would be a great fit for someone with some land and space which is what they truly need.

Story
Mythic is a lovely dog that we had gotten years ago. He’ll be five years old at the end of July of this year. He is a very active dog that enjoys spending time with people. Over the years it’s gotten harder to keep up with him. He enjoys being outside and will try to play with anyone that he’s around.

Greenville, IN
Size
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Milo is around 7 years old Shiba Inu / American Eskimo mix who came from a puppy mill. Because of his background, he’s a unique little guy who needs the right environment but when he feels safe, he’s incredibly loving. 🐾 About Milo: • Gets along well with other dogs his size. He isn’t necessarily dominant but he will nip at times if others are in his space. • Would do great in a home with or without other dogs • Not recommended around small animals. Not sure about cats. • Once he bonds with you, he becomes very cuddly but he also values his personal space • Needs a secure fenced-in yard (he does NOT walk on a leash) • Okay with kids; he mostly ignores them and would do well with school-aged children. • Low-maintenance, quiet, and independent Milo deserves a calm, patient home where he can feel safe, decompress, and be loved on his own terms.
