Story
Ollie is a sweet boy we adopted as a puppy. He will be 8 in July. He is about 80 pounds. He has never destroyed furniture, clothing, shoes, etc. He enjoys his toys and has warn through some. He does not steal food from counters or the table. He is a good boy and waits for his meals. He does have food mite allergies so we feed him hydrolyzed protein food. He has a prescription for it through his vet. Ollie has had a few ear infections and skin rashes. Changing his food has helped a lot with these however. He has had knee surgery. He enjoys sleeping in his crate or on his bed. If you let him, he would love to lay on couch or bed with you. He loves a good pet. He is very reactive/ anxious to our mail deliveries. We live on a very busy street and he does bark at post office, ups and FedEx vehicles and personnel. He also will bark at pedestrians or bike riders passing by. He is very defensive of our home and kids and has behavior concerns a new home must be prepared for.

Story
Hi! Our family loves Monty but we find him more stressed out in our multiple dog family. He’s a smart dude, very terrier, loves chasing a chipmunk or just about anything. He also likes to regulate our two very simple minded dogs which is challenging because they tend to amp each other up. They are good together 95% of the time but have had a few quarrels lately and he seems so much happier when we take him on separate trips or when he sneaks to go visit our retired neighbors that love to pamper him and bathe him with attention. Our thought is that he’ll be a much happier, though still partially mischievous, little buddy to a single dog family or someone that enjoys the companionship of taking him to work. He’s happy to go anywhere with you and even air travels with my wife regularly. If he’s left home for lots of hours, he’s probably not for you. My wife primarily works from home and he loves hanging out with her and also snuggles a lot. We rescued him from a high kill shelter in AL.
