Story
This is Starr. 10 year old pit bull mix. We just verified with the Vet she isn't 13 after all!! She lost her human on 1/11/26 (he passed away) and needs a new home. She is gentle, affectionate, and listens well. Her daughter Athena ( 8 years old also listed here) also needs a new home/pack. Separate or together, they are in limbo right now staying in our garage until we can find placement. She has had a bit of a rocky life, being a street dog for most of it. She deserves a loving home and pack in her old age.

Story
This is Athena, an 8 year old female pit bull mix. We thought she was 11 but we just confirmed with the Vet she is 8 not 11 years old. She and her mother (Starr, also listed here) lost their person (he passed away on January 11 2026. She is a sweet, playful and affectionate girl, she listens well but could use a bit of training for when she gets excited. She tends to like to dig if she is bored. She has the cutest head tilt you have ever seen. They both have had a hard life as street dogs for much of it, so really deserve a solid home/pack for their retirement years.

We are looking for a new home for our girl, a medium-sized mystery mix who is full of love and personality. She is a loyal companion who has been fantastic with our 3-year-old son, showing a gentle and patient side with family.Currently, she is living in a small rental with a very limited backyard. Because of our work schedules, she is spending too much time indoors, which has led to some destructive behavior out of boredom and pent-up energy. She is a smart, active dog who is simply 'too much dog' for a small space and needs more stimulation than we can currently provide

Story
Come meet Sly, 6 months. A very smart and loving pup ready for someone or a loving family that will continue his training and playing. He is house broke. He waits to eat ,when I say "ok" after I fill his bowl then he will eat. I adopted Sly from the Oregon Dog Rescue in Portland, OR . I found out I'm not as young as I used to be to care and train a pup .My life is getting busier. I did get him house broke. He is Chipped, neutered, has all his required shots, rabies Etc. I have his records. I have 5 months of Hart-Gard to go with him. We are still training. We try to walk 2 miles every day. He walks without pulling on his leash, sits, comes, down. Food motivated. He loves people and gets along with other dogs. We see cats but doesn't have any interest. Takes regular naps. Wish I could. He loves to play tug a war and play ball. I will include his toys and bed food and dish etc. Sly $ is negotiable. I have his outdoor kennel if you are interested.I hope to here from his new pack soon.
