Story
Truffle (Tuff) a fun, sweet, and loyal dog who absolutely adores her people. Tuff is smart, affectionate, and loves being part of whatever is going on. She enjoys attention, is eager to engage with her family, and brings a lot of personality and joy to everyday life. She does great with kids and other animals. When she gets excited, she can be a little barky and jumpy, but she settles down once she has a chance to calm herself. We’re rehoming Tuff because, despite her many wonderful qualities, she is not safe living with our other dog, Arlo. She has gone after him multiple times and has injured him, so for everyone’s safety, she must be placed in a home without other dogs. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, but we love Tuff and want to find the right environment where she can be successful, happy, and safe. We’re hopeful there is a home out there that will appreciate what a special dog she is and give her the chance to shine.

Story
Chip is a sweet 4 year old dog we adopted from a rescue when he was a puppy. He is very close to our family members but after the loss of our older dog, is increasingly stressed and reactive when the house is loud and chaotic as it frequently is with 2 teenagers and lots of friends coming and going. Chip loves to play fetch with his toys, loves to take walks and enjoys a good snuggle. We think he would be much happier in a home without kids and perhaps without other pets. He loved our older dog but has not gotten along well with others dogs that have come into our home and we have never seen him with a cat.

Mercedes is a two year old, 4.5 lb. darling terrier mix who was abandon in So. CA and is in Springfield/Eugene in our wonderful foster home. Mercedes is the most loving little dog that has been praying for her people to find her. She will be the best companion ever once she learns to trust you. She is great on car rides and is learning to walk on a leash. Mercedes will only be placed in a home where her people are home more often than not. Our foster people will visit your home to make sure your yard and the surroundings are safe. Meet Zues or Zuesy He is a sweet small black lab mix. He is about 10 years old. He needs a loving home without any dogs or cats.( Dominance issue with other dogs. Chases cats) Zeus is good on a leash with a confident leader. He may notice other dogs but as long as you tug him forward, say let’s go and keep walking before a reaction, you’ll both be just fine. Zeus isn’t currently in the best home and could use some real love and care for the rest of his years. Zeus is great in the car, loves adventures, loves walks, loves affection/cuddles, loves to play, and loves people. Does resource guard food and toys after giving to him. So give it to him and leave him alone.
