Story

Meet Bubba, a friendly, energetic 2-year-old mixed-breed dog weighing about 60 pounds. He loves people, children, treats, chew toys, and having room to run. Bubba is house-trained, crate-trained, knows basic commands, follows routines well, and rarely barks. He has done well with female dogs; he has not been around cats or male dogs, so careful introductions are needed. Bubba is neutered, healthy, and current on vaccinations. When extremely excited, he may urinate a small amount, usually about once a month. While left loose at home, he has had only one chewing incident in about six months. We adopted Bubba from a shelter, but as our family grows, we cannot provide the activity and safe handling this strong dog needs. His ideal home has an experienced adult who can offer exercise, consistent guidance, and a permanent, loving commitment. A securely fenced yard would be helpful. We welcome a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is comfortable.
