Story
A year ago, I visited our local shelter to see about adopting a rescue puppy. I fell in love with Sweet Pea and picked her up on Valentine's Day. I learned that her siblings came from a reservation in New Mexico, and might not have had much time with their mom. I wanted to be a positive figure for her, but I could quickly tell she needed a lot of care and attention. I wanted a pet for the companionship and activity after getting home from work. But over the past year, I've run into problems that are making it harder to keep a pet. Sweet Pea has a lot of energy and needs room to run in a large ranch or farm. She's fast and can jump high! She loves to go on walks. She's strong and will chase a large rope to run around with. Some items she does not love to return. She's great with kids and has never bitten. But she is jumpy and gets her paws up on everyone. She has an appetite and will eat lots. She does enjoy digging holes and chewing. She has not chewed furniture, only rugs and pillows.

Story
Lucy is a very sweet girl who loves to go on walks. She needs to be an only child with someone who can help her be the best dog she can be. She would do best outside of city limits as she is very good at alerting. She needs someone who can devote time and attention to her and console her during thunder and fireworks. She is a large, silky smooth girl with the best eyebrows in town! She knows a few basic commands but would love to learn more! She is shy around new people and takes a little while to get to know you.
