This big lug of a pup came to us by way of Lee County Domestic Animal Services, as they were running out of space. We often pull dogs from other shelters that don’t have the luxury of time that we do at ARC. Benji is affectionate, playful and very energetic. Adoption fee is $50 during our Bissell Empty the Shelters event 5/1 - 5/15!! Application must be submitted to secure an appointment! Our handsome Domino, our longest resident| To know him is to love him and he has the biggest heart! He's a happy-go-lucky kind of guy that never meets a stranger. He gives bear hugs better than any human we know! He is a big boy and gets overlooked time and time again simply because of his size. He doesn't understand why his friends come and go while he hopefully waits every day for his happily ever after. While he is big and strong, he is a smart guy and responds very well to training and direction. With a little bit of love and patience, he will be the perfect gentleman. Domino has gone a few field trips to the beach and dog park with one of our volunteers and he has been on his very best behavior! Domino is 2.5 years old, loves to play, and would enjoy a fenced-in backyard to run and stretch his legs. If you enjoy huge hugs, playing tug of war, and being the center of an adoring dog's entire world, Domino just might be your guy!! Bonus: Dom is currently eligible for Bissell's Empty The Shelters event which reduces his adoption fee from $250 to $50! The adoption fee includes vet exam, up-to-date shots, deworming, heartworm test (negative), and microchip and neuter, all already done. Hi I'm Katrina! I was surrendered by my owner with my sister Katana. I'm thankful we landed at Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue where we are received the medical and general care we needed to find our forever homes! I'm a sweet full Great Dane girl, although I don't have any of those papers humans talk about. I'm friendly and fun. I am around 6 months old as of the end of April and weighed in at 42 lbs about a month ago. I'm a sweet, gentle girl and just stunning. My $650 adoption fee includes vet check, up to date vaccines, deworming, microchip and spay at one of our rescue's vets in Ft Myers when we get a bit older as we are very large breed dogs (and it is rather expensive for breeds of our size).
