Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Django! 🐾💙
Django is a gentle Great Dane with an even bigger heart. This super sweet, nice boy is Silver Paws VIP eligible and has already been on quite a journey—traveling all the way from New Mexico in hopes of finding his forever home.
Django is heartworm positive, but with proper treatment and a loving home, he can continue on the path to a healthy, happy life. His calm, affectionate nature makes him a wonderful companion, and he’s ready to trade the shelter for a cozy home where he can relax, be loved, and finally settle in.
Django is looking for a compassionate family who will give him the care he needs and cherish him for the amazing, gentle soul he is. He’s ready to start his next chapter—could it be with you? 🐾

More about this shelter
The Gulf Coast Humane Society is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization dedicated to serving the animals and community of Southwest Florida. We receive no federal, state, or county funding, nor do we receive financial support from the Humane Society of the United States. Instead, our lifesaving work is made possible through the generosity of individual donations, grants, bequests, and community fundraising efforts.
As a no kill shelter, Gulf Coast Humane Society is committed to providing compassionate care for unwanted, neglected, and abandoned animals. We never euthanize due to space constraints or the length of time an animal has been in our care. Our mission is to give every animal the second chance they deserve in a safe and loving environment.
