Story
He is 5 yo, and a good, loving dog in the right environment for him. He was adopted from a foster home when he was little and already had prior issues with men due to previous abuse from a male owner. We have had max for a couple years and there have been some instances where he shows aggression towards other people when they come into our home, no matter who they are. Due to this, we have to rehome him. He does not do well around other men other than my husband, on occasion there are a few he would like, same with kids. He would be a great dog for females and a good guard dog. Max would need a fenced in yard. Max is a lazy dog who enjoys napping all day whether on his bed or outside in the sun. He doesn’t really play with toys unless it’s to cuddle one. He does great in a car, and loves affection. We say he has old man energy! We hope we can find him a good home that can accommodate him and his behaviors because we know that he can thrive in the right environment. Help Max find a home

Story
Byndi is a 2-year-old female presumed to be a Dane mix. She comes to us as a stray found by one of our fosters. A sleek black coat and mesmerizing dual eye color, she is a beautiful young lady. She is also a lady with manners, waiting patiently for food and gently taking treats, and is potty and crate trained. Byndi is Young and very playful, often happily carrying toys around with her. She seems to be an all-weather dog, having a grand old time playing in the snow and takes any opportunity to stretch her legs and have a good run. A family with a larger yard or an active lifestyle would be a lovely fit. Exercise will be important. She has had limited experience with cats, but has had good temperament thus far. Byndi has warmed up to people faster than she has to dogs. She seems to be intimidated by larger or more dominant dogs, but has had more playful and relaxed encounters with smaller companions. A home with smaller children might be on the overwhelming side for Byndi, older children would be a better pairing. She is still young and learning boundries. She is still very much in the middle of decompression and has attached herself to her foster mom quickly. Byndi seems to be protective of her person and will need slow introduction to house guests until trust is earned and a routine is built. We are working with a trainer to help ease her anxiety with all the change and finding positive ways to build trust and love. Showing Byndi that the past doesn't have to define her future, and that kindness exists in the world. Byndi has a lot of love and wiggles to give. We believe once Byndi understands she is safe and comfortable, she has all the potential to be the best companion for years to come. All Paw Patrol Dayton animals come snip, chipped, tested and treated. Her adoption fee is usually $285. However, to celebrate Paw Patrol Dayton's 14th Anniversary... her adoption fee is half off during the month of April! All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Are you looking for a large, horse-shaped dog that HAS to carry around a Lamb Chop toy at all times? Well, I may be the perfect guy for you! Hi, I'm Drako, and I am absolutely obsessed with my Lamb Chop toy. Lamb Chop goes EVERYWHERE with me! I may be a big boy, but I appreciate having a stuffy with me at all times. Whether I'm in my kennel, out in the yards, or on a walk, Lamb Chop is there with me through everything. Not to brag, but I think it's safe to say I'm a staff favorite around here due to my charisma. I've been told that I give the best kisses ever. I'm eager to please and I already know how to sit, lay down, and shake--but I would love to learn more! I've made several canine friends during my time here at SICSA, and absolutely love running and romping around with them when I can. If I sound like the guy for you, come on down to SICSA to meet me (and my Lamb Chop)! I have plenty of love to give! This pet is available through SICSA Pet Adoption & Wellness Center, located at 8172 Washington Church Road, Washington Township, OH 45458. We are open Monday through Saturday from 12pm-7pm.
