I may be a little shy and nervous at first, but underneath this luxurious coat is a very sweet, kind soul who just wants to feel safe and cherished. I operate on my own terms — as any proper Persian should. I’m not really interested in learning commands (I prefer to supervise rather than perform), but I *am* perfectly house trained and respectful in the home. I enjoy playing with my toys and, more than anything, I like having my person nearby. You don’t always have to be petting me — I just like your presence. Being close makes me feel secure. I would do best in a calm, small household — one or two people who can truly dote on me and give me the attentive care I deserve. I’m a bit high maintenance (have you seen this coat?), so I need someone committed to my grooming and overall care. If there are too many other high-maintenance pets in the home, I might feel overwhelmed. I do well with older cats and would be happy with a mellow feline companion. Because I’m sensitive and shy, I’d prefer older children (10+) who understand gentle handling and quiet spaces.
