Persian kittens & cats in Tampa, Florida

I was such a good mama and raised all my kittens! Now it's MY turn to be spoiled! So far, I havent adjusted to rescue life too great. I've never bitten or scratched anyone, but tend to keep to myself most of the time. I will purr for you if you put me in your lap, but once I'm down, I usually go and hide. Inside life can be scary, but it was too dangerous where I came from to go back there, outside. I just need a quiet place with someone who is patient and loving! I may never follow you around the house, but I'm super low maintenance and dont we all deserve a safe, loving home? ##2657929##

This sweet girl was given to us by a good samaritan who says her family had been keeping her locked in a birdcage for most of her life. She was very timid at first but once she knew she was safe, really opened up with love and purrs and started adjusting to "big" spaces in the house. She still likes to tuck herself away now and then, but has come such a long way. Watching her climb a cat tree for the fiirst time, play with other kittens... it's all be so beautiful! The vet estimated she's a year old, but weighs less than 6 lbs! she is a very small cat, if she really is a year old. Still the size of a cat half her age. She may or may not grow more, but will probably always be on the small side. She loves pets and ear scritches and lots of attention from her people!  ##2696596##
