Story
Lumos (or Lu, as her friends call her) is the kind of dog who perfectly balances adventure and relaxation. This beautiful mixed-breed girl enjoys spending time outdoors exploring the yard, but she's just as happy stretched out in a sunny patch of grass, snoozing upside down, or curled up on the couch after a fun day.
Lu has a playful, affectionate personality that keeps her family smiling. She loves games of tug, enjoys a good chase around the yard, and has her own charming ways of asking for attention—whether it's gently tapping you with her paw or dramatically flopping herself into your lap for cuddles. She's well-mannered in the home, crate trained, potty trained, and enjoys having a chew toy nearby without being destructive.
She loves being close to her people and is happiest hanging out wherever you are, whether that's under your desk while you work, helping in the garden, lounging on the couch, or claiming a cozy spot at the foot of the bed. Lu is wonderful with cats and does well with school-aged children. While she has been social with some dogs, she may prefer being the only dog in her future home where she can soak up all the attention herself.
Like many Great Pyrenees mixes, Lu takes her neighborhood watch duties seriously and will happily let you know when visitors or delivery drivers arrive. She also inherited the Pyr's luxurious coat, so regular brushing helps keep her looking her best.
