Story
It breaks my heart to rehome my 9-year-old purebred Newfoundland due to major life changes. He’s the sweetest, calmest, most affectionate “dry-mouth” Newfie—great with all people and dogs, and happiest lounging near his humans. He has hip dysplasia and limited mobility (had ACL surgery at age 3), so he needs a calm, single-level home familiar with senior or large-breed dogs. He loves companionship more than activity and spends most of the day resting. I’m rehoming him due to a divorce, layoffs, and needing to move into housing that can’t accommodate a giant breed. He deserves more stability and care than I can currently provide. He is incredibly loving, gentle, and loyal. If you or someone you know might be a great fit, please reach out. I’m happy to answer any questions.

Story
Meet Samson, a gentle giant that weighs around 90 lbs. While his exact history is a bit of a mysteryhaving been found as a strayhis personality speaks for itself. Estimated to be between 3 and 5 years old, Samson is calm, patient, and famously sweet. Everyone who meets him falls for his mellow demeanor and "polar bear" charm. Hes the kind of dog who is happy just to be in your presence, offering a steady, comforting companionship that makes any house feel like a home. Samson is currently up to date on his vaccinations and is scheduled for his neuter surgery on 2/24, meaning he will be officially ready to head to his forever couch on 2/25. We're not sure about his past training, so that may need to be worked on in his new home. His adoption fee is $350, which helps cover his medical care and prep for his new life.
