Story
We rescued Charlotte from a pound. She was skin and bones, practically without fur and weighed only 60lbs. Her health was failing and we knew she needed help. We were told by the pound that she had been used for breeding and dumped in the wild where she lived until a family with young kids found her as Charlotte was following the kids on their property. I reached out to multiple organizations about fostering her but no one was available to take her on, so we did. In the time that passed, Charlotte quickly put on weight and all of her fur grew in! We were so amazed at her progress. She’s a big, healthy, loving, loyal girl who just needs a flock to protect. Unfortunately, our son has developed very severe allergies and we are needing to rehome her. She would thrive in a home without other dogs, with room to roam and be outside but also a good couch to snuggle on. She is a good girl who has been through so much, nursed back to health and needs a home to settle down in now.
