Story
Sweet Ivy! She is 3.5 years old. She is adorable and petite. Housetrained and crate trained. Lower drive and a great family companion level energy. This girl is oh so sweet with her humans and quite affectionate once she’s comfortable. She is wicked smart and would thrive in a home with someone who will work her brain everyday. She is protective of her people and home, so proper introductions outside of the home are a must. No kids for this girl as small humans make her nervous. She is also kennel trained and is fine to be put away when guests come over. Ivy does need to be the only pet in the home. Ivy has high prey drive, so no cats please. She is working on her “leave it” and “no” commands while outside and will need someone to continue this training. Ivy is a smart, loyal dog that will make a wonderful companion for her person. Interested families can submit applications for adoption on our website- www.k9Justiceleague.com.

Story
80 pound TRUSTY is all of a sudden becoming so much more playful and happy! He rolls on the grass with a stuffed toy in his mouth. He will also come to you, drop on the ground pretty much on your feet and then roll over. He runs and chases. He is easy on a leash as he enjoys stopping and sniffing the roses here and there and when he's on a mission, he trots at an easy almost relaxing pace. Trusty needs just a bit of time to get fully used to new people but once he knows you, he's your boy. Please check him out. He's in a back kennel so if you don't see him, please just ask!   VBACAC 341 S Birdneck Road, VB Open daily 12-5 pmVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 4, 2024, 7:42 pm

Story
DAISY - 4-6 years old, 75 pounds, house trained, well mannered in home!   Daisy is a return resident at VBACAC. The first time she arrived was as a stray. She was adopted for a day and brought back almost immediately when she didn't do well with the other female dog in the home. She was adopted again and unfortunately, after a great 6 months with this family, the adopter was forced to bring Daisy back bc their new landlord does not want dogs on the property. Daisy is said to be good with children but needs older children in the home who understand dog etiquette and how to follow rules around dogs. She is a fun, playful girl who loves toys and tennis balls and she loves to jump...on you... in play! Daisy is a guardian breed, and does guard her prized items like food, bones, bedding. She should be allowed to have her things and not be messed with while eating or chewing a bone. She is neutral with big dogs in public but is not able to live with other dogs. She does show chase drive towards small animals. Daisy is a fun fun fun girl waiting to meet you!    VBACAC  341 S Birdneck Road , VB Open daily  12-5 pm .  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 4, 2024, 7:42 pm
