Meet Mickey! Mickey was surrendered to us along with his two sisters and dad. His family was no longer able to care for them. Unfortunately, they didn't socialize them enough so they are all shy and not use to everyday sounds. Mom is a poodle and dad is a Norfolk terrier. They do relax with a little love and patience. Mickey LOVES to play with other dogs! He is very sweet and likes to snuggle with his person. He isn't used to being alone so there is a bit of whining when he is. He is very handsome. He will run if you try to pick him up. His foster is working on this. Because he is a flight risk a home with small children (potential doors left open) is not in his current future. He will need a home that has time to work with him. Please keep in mind he is a PUPPY. Puppies chew on things, have accidents, and need basic training. If this is not something that you feel you are up for Mickey is not the guy for you. Mickey is neutered, UTD on vaccines, and microchipped. Mickey is 3 months old and weighs 8 pounds. Available for Adoption Canela is one of the happiest, most fun-loving girls you’ll ever meet. It’s nearly impossible to have a bad day around her—she has a way of turning any frown upside down! She is playful, funny, and has a truly radiant personality. Canela would thrive in a home with a yard, and ideally with children or another dog. She lived her entire life outdoors prior to rescue and is incredibly well-behaved. She can be vocal when welcoming you home but is otherwise quiet, obedient, loving, gentle, and kind. She may be a little shy at first, but it only lasts a few minutes before her sweet personality shines through. She gets adorable zoomies during outdoor playtime, and it’s wonderful to see how happy she is. Canela is 90% crate trained, mostly potty trained with us, piddle pad trained, and does great with kids and all dogs. Her experience with cats is unknown, but with a proper introduction, she should do well. Canela is ready for a loving home where she can continue to blossom. She has had 2 vet visits, is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, 4 DX test (testing for Lyme disease and two types of tick-borne illnesses), flea/tick/heartworm prevention (Nexgard Plus), two dewormings, and a fecal test. Adopters will receive all original paperwork, a 14-day health guarantee, a collar, harness, leash, seatbelt lock, and a week's worth of food. This is one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever had to make, but with a new baby at home, we’re looking for a new, safe, and loving environment for Brewer where he can truly thrive. Brewer is an incredibly sweet, affectionate dog with his people. Once he bonds with you, he is loyal, loving, and happiest just being near those he trusts. He enjoys calm routines, familiar faces, and a predictable environment. Brewer does struggle with anxiety and fear-based aggression toward unfamiliar people. Because of this, he would do best in a quiet, adult-only home with someone who is experienced with dogs who have behavioral challenges. He is currently on medication to help manage his anxiety and behavioral concerns, which has been helpful and should be continued under veterinary guidance. We believe Brewer would thrive in: • A home with no children, • A low-traffic household with limited visitors, • An owner experienced with reactive or anxious dogs, • Someone willing to continue working with a veterinarian or behavior professional.
