This is one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever had to make, but with a new baby at home, we’re looking for a new, safe, and loving environment for Brewer where he can truly thrive. Brewer is an incredibly sweet, affectionate dog with his people. Once he bonds with you, he is loyal, loving, and happiest just being near those he trusts. He enjoys calm routines, familiar faces, and a predictable environment. Brewer does struggle with anxiety and fear-based aggression toward unfamiliar people. Because of this, he would do best in a quiet, adult-only home with someone who is experienced with dogs who have behavioral challenges. He is currently on medication to help manage his anxiety and behavioral concerns, which has been helpful and should be continued under veterinary guidance. We believe Brewer would thrive in: • A home with no children, • A low-traffic household with limited visitors, • An owner experienced with reactive or anxious dogs, • Someone willing to continue working with a veterinarian or behavior professional. This decision comes from love and responsibility, we want what is best for Brewer and for our growing family. He deserves a home where he feels safe, understood, and supported. Welcome Sweet Oscar!   Oscar is a five-month-old, 10-pound Border Terrier mix puppy.   He is full of puppy energy and loves attention, toys, and food. Now that he is a bit older, Oscar's favorite activity is playing with the other small dogs in his foster home. Oscar has lots of energy for playtime and is very affectionate; he enjoys being a lap companion.    Oscar is housetrained and sleeps in a dog bed at night. He is crated when his foster mom runs errands, but, as a puppy, he should not be crated all day. We are looking for a forever home where someone is home often and can dedicate time to continue his socialization, basic obedience training, and active play. His ideal home will also have another small  playful dog.    Oscar is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Available for Adoption Canela is one of the happiest, most fun-loving girls you’ll ever meet. It’s nearly impossible to have a bad day around her—she has a way of turning any frown upside down! She is playful, funny, and has a truly radiant personality. Canela would thrive in a home with a yard, and ideally with children or another dog. She lived her entire life outdoors prior to rescue and is incredibly well-behaved. She can be vocal when welcoming you home but is otherwise quiet, obedient, loving, gentle, and kind. She may be a little shy at first, but it only lasts a few minutes before her sweet personality shines through. She gets adorable zoomies during outdoor playtime, and it’s wonderful to see how happy she is. Canela is 90% crate trained, mostly potty trained with us, piddle pad trained, and does great with kids and all dogs. Her experience with cats is unknown, but with a proper introduction, she should do well. Canela is ready for a loving home where she can continue to blossom. She has had 2 vet visits, is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, 4 DX test (testing for Lyme disease and two types of tick-borne illnesses), flea/tick/heartworm prevention (Nexgard Plus), two dewormings, and a fecal test. Adopters will receive all original paperwork, a 14-day health guarantee, a collar, harness, leash, seatbelt lock, and a week's worth of food. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis and are by appointment only. We are located in Mesa near Gilbert/Brown & offer flexible hours for meet-and-greet appointments.
