If you decide not to adopt one of our Amazing Dogs, the $50 is considered a compensation for the transportation costs. All our doggies come with their health record and have received all necessary medical care, which includes (but is not limited to) all vaccines, de-wormer, anti-flea/tick medication, microchip and of course spay/neuter surgery. Our adoption fee is $500. Only in California, the fee for babies under a year old is $600. Please consider this not as a price you pay for the doggie, but as a (tax-deductible) donation to our charity, so we can continue our work and take care of the 250+ dogs in our shelter. Bambi was intercepted at the shelter while we pulling another dog. Bambi is only 7 months and weighs 7.5lbs.  Bambi is shy at first but will warm up after a day or two. Ideally an Adult home with Older Kids. Bambi likes to be playful when all warmed up with dogs and people Bambi seems to do great with other dogs, prefers the company of humans when comfortable, is pee pad trained and learning the leash. Someone that works from home would be great and to work on her being on her own for short periods of time to build her confidence. Bambi has had her shots and will be scheduled for Spay and microchip0 as well... What most people don’t see are the dogs that aren’t quite ready for adoption and stay with our rescue to work on rehabilitation until they are ready.  Leo has been with us for the past year and he came to us shut down and needed more time than others to decompress.
