Story
Meet Xolo! Breed: Norfolk Terrier Mix Birthday: 10/28/2025 age: 3 years old Weight: 17 Pounds Health: Healthy, vaccinated, and neutered — though he’s in great shape, please schedule a visit with your own vet soon after adoption to establish care and keep him feeling his best! Personality Xolo is a joyful little gentleman with a heart that just wants to belong. He has that classic Terrier sparkle — smart, affectionate, and always ready for a bit of fun. Whether he’s exploring the yard, curling up for movie night, or greeting you at the door with his happy tail, Xolo radiates love. He’s loyal to his people and has that perfect balance of spunk and sweetness that makes him the kind of dog who just fits right in. Breed Info Norfolk Terriers are small but mighty! They’re known for their spirited energy, courage, and affectionate nature. A Norfolk mix like Xolo typically weighs around 12–16 pounds and thrives in homes that give both playtime and cuddles. They’re alert, smart, and make wonderful companions for active or relaxed families alike. Owner Responsibilities Provide daily walks, stimulation, and playtime to satisfy his terrier instincts. Offer love, structure, and consistency — he’s happiest with routine and gentle guidance. Keep up with regular vet care, heartworm prevention, grooming, and nutrition. Be patient and understanding as he adjusts to a new rhythm of life. Things to Consider Before adopting, think about: Do you have time for daily attention, affection, and exercise? Is your landlord pet-friendly and does your home allow dogs? Are you prepared for the lifelong costs of vet care, grooming, and food? Do you plan to stay in a stable home and routine for years to come? Every dog needs patience — especially rescues who may need time to trust again. The 3-3-3 Rule First 3 days: Everything feels new. Xolo will need space, comfort, and calm reassurance. First 3 weeks: He’ll start learning your home, your schedule, and your heart. First 3 months: Trust blossoms, and he’ll know he’s truly home — safe, loved, and understood. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Commitment for Life Adopting Xolo means promising to be his forever family — through every season, every adventure, and every wag of his tail. Why Xolo Would Be a Great Addition Xolo is the kind of dog who fills every quiet corner of your home with love and laughter. He’s small enough to snuggle in your arms but big enough in heart to make every day brighter. Loyal, affectionate, and endlessly loving, Xolo is ready to bring joy and warmth into the life of whoever is lucky enough to call him theirs. Story
●Rescue Story Bori was rescued from the euthanasia list at "Jeongeup Shelter" in South Korea. Despite the uncertainty of his early life, he has adjusted remarkably well in foster care and has shown himself to be a calm, gentle, and emotionally stable dog. ●Temperament & Behavior Bori has excellent manners with other dogs. He approaches politely, greets calmly, and plays well, making him a great candidate for a multi-dog household. He does not enjoy overly rough or pushy play and prefers dogs with good social skills. When encountering cats during walks, he shows curiosity and may attempt to follow them, but he responds immediately to verbal cues and stops when corrected. He generally enjoys people and is friendly, though sudden loud voices or someone rushing toward him can startle him briefly. With calm and respectful interactions, he warms up quickly. ●Walking & Daily Life Bori walks calmly on leash with no pulling and maintains very good walking manners. His shedding level is low to moderate, about 4 out of 10. He has no food allergies, is not picky, and eats well. He currently follows an outdoor potty routine, going on one-hour walks in the morning and evening, during which he does his business. If an emergency arises indoors, he independently goes into the bathroom, relieves himself, and comes back out. ●Habits & Training Bori tolerates bathing and brushing well and remains relaxed during grooming. He has no separation anxiety and can stay home alone for several hours without barking, accidents, or destructive behavior. He quietly entertains himself with toys. He is a very quiet dog and rarely barks. He rides extremely well in the car with no motion sickness and enjoys car rides. ●Likes & Personality Bori enjoys car rides, visiting dog cafés, and running freely in open spaces like yards or play fields. He prefers calm, polite interactions with both people and dogs and feels uncomfortable only when someone approaches too suddenly. He is currently living in a foster home. ●Personality (Three Words): Independent, active, and gentle.

Story
Ryder is the total package! This sweet and lovable Cairn terrier mix is the definition of a loyal companion. With a laid-back, easy-going nature, Ryder is happy to hang out with you on the couch or play fetch in the yard — especially if there are doggie snacks involved! Ryder was rescued at 8 weeks old from Hesperia Shelter, with a sibling who passed from parvo soon after they arrived. Ryder never developed parvo and has been healthy since that time. He gets along wonderfully with kids and other dogs, and his non-shedding coat makes him a great option for families who prefer less fur around the house. Ryder’s calm, affectionate, and loyal personality makes him an ideal addition to just about any home. He is microchipped, neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. Ryder is currently being fostered in San Bernadino County, CA and must be picked up from there. For adoption information, please contact AlphaDogPetRescue@yahoo.com
