Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Muffin Muffin is a handsome red Norfolk Terrier mix with a heart as soft as his name. Born around March 11, 2025, this little guy weighs just 11.5 pounds—but he’s packed full of sweetness and love. Muffin is a total love bug who just wants to be close to his people. Muffin came from a hoarding situation where he was living with 29 other dogs. Because of that, he’s still learning about the big world and what it means to be a cherished companion. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but the moment you offer him a little kindness and attention, he warms up quickly and happily soaks up the love. He’s still working on his leash skills and hasn’t quite mastered walking on one yet—right now he much prefers being carried like the little prince he is! With patience and gentle encouragement, Muffin will continue to gain confidence and learn new things every day. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate little companion who just needs a bit of love and reassurance, Muffin might be the perfect match for you. Muffin’s adoption fee is $350. You can apply to adopt him at www.adoggie4you.org This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $250. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 5, 2026, 10:29 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Alton! Alton is a sweet, gentle Norfolk Terrier mix born around 5/29/2024 who is ready to find a family of his own. He came to rescue after being found roaming the streets, but despite his rough start, he's a happy, friendly boy who loves making new friends. Alton has a submissive personality and gets along well with other dogs. He enjoys playtime, attention, and being part of the action without being overly demanding. He's still working on his potty training and will need a patient adopter willing to help him continue learning. We are unsure how Alton does with cats or children at this time. Alton is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, 4DX negative, and current on Bravecto and ProHeart 12. His adoption fee is $400. Apply at www.adoggie4you.org Alton is located in Texas, but transport is available to Washington, Portland (OR), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington (KY), and along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Mitchell! Mitchell is a quiet Norfolk Terrier mix with a beautiful red coat and the personality of a pixie warrior. Born around March 10, 2025, this charming boy weighs only 10.0 pounds, making him a great small sized companion for a loving home. Mitchell came from a hoarding situation where he was one of 29 dogs, so life hasn’t always been easy for him. Because of that, he may take a few minutes to warm up to new people. But once you approach him gently and offer slow, reassuring pets, you’ll see his guard melt away—and that’s when his affectionate side shines through. Sadly, Mitchell did not receive heartworm prevention earlier in life and tested heartworm positive. The good news is that he has already been treated and is doing well! He just needs to take medication for 30 more days to complete his recovery and get back to feeling his best. Mitchell gets along wonderfully with other dogs and truly enjoys their company. He is very smart and eager to connect with people, especially once he feels safe. With a patient and loving family willing to give him time to adjust, he will grow into a loyal and devoted companion. He’s still learning some basics, including walking on a leash, but with consistency and kindness he will quickly improve. If you’re ready to give a deserving pup a second chance and a lifetime of love, Mitchell may be the perfect fit for your family. Story
Nobody has informed Cinnamon that she is, technically speaking, a dog. Cinnamon is actually a small magical forest being disguised as a puppy. Possibly an ewok. Possibly a fox. We are still investigating.Cinnamon believes life is one giant expedition, and she approaches it with the seriousness of a great explorer. Every shoe contains mysteries. Every remote control hides ancient secrets. Every unattended object deserves to be carefully inspected, carried away, and occasionally chewed on for scientific purposes.Despite her tiny size, Cinnamon possesses the energy and determination of an adventurer crossing unknown lands. She climbs, she investigates, she follows the other dogs as though they are part of her expedition team, and then, after all her important discoveries are complete, she transforms into an affectionate cuddle companion who wants nothing more than to curl up beside her humans.Additional field research, expedition footage, and photographic evidence of Cinnamon’s adventures can be found here:https://hope4lapawz.org/wp1/cinnamon-2026022DLike many brilliant young minds, Cinnamon can be a little shy when meeting new people. But once she decides you are trustworthy and worthy of joining her journey, she becomes incredibly loving and loyal.Because Cinnamon is still very young, she needs a home willing to continue guiding her through the important arts of puppyhood: walks, exercise, companionship, toy identification… and learning which objects are not actually collectible treasures.Cinnamon was originally picked up for sterilization and was expected to return to the streets. Fortunately, someone saw something special in this tiny creature and gave her the opportunity to discover a completely different life. Since then, she has been blossoming more every day.And honestly? We suspect she’s only just getting started. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.
