Story
Hey there! I’m Bartock (aka Bart)! I’m 8 months old, about 50 pounds, and still learning what it means to be a happy, trusting dog. My first 8 months were a bit tough, so I’m a little shy at first. But if you’re patient with me, I promise I’ll show you just how sweet I can be. I’ve got big ears that some people think are kinda funny (they definitely help me listen for snacks! ), but what I’m really looking for is a family who’ll understand I need a little time to warm up. I’m not the kind of dog who rushes into things, but with love and care, I’ll trust you—and that’s when I’ll really start showing you my true self! I’m really hoping to find a home with another dog to help me feel confident and safe. I love having a buddy around, and they’ll help me navigate the world with a little more bravery. And guess what? I get along great with cats, too! Crate training is a bit of a work in progress for me, and sometimes I get a little anxious, but I calm down once I feel settled. I just need someone who can help me through it and show me that everything’s okay. If you’re looking for a sweet, shy boy who just needs a little time and a lot of love, I might be the perfect match for you! I’m ready to be your best friend and bring lots of happiness into your life. For more info, please visit www.buffalounderdogs.com ##2544858##

Story
Meet Vespera! (or as her foster parents affectionately call her — Vessy, Loch Vess Monster, or Vespa !) Vespera is an 8-month-old Carolina Dog / German Shorthaired Pointer mix, weighing about 33 pounds. She’s sweet, spunky, and light on her feet — a graceful little athlete who bounds around with joy and confidence once she warms up. Vess might be a bit shy when she first meets you, but don’t let that fool you, she comes out of her shell quickly and absolutely soaks up attention (especially belly rubs!). She loves to play with her foster brothers and would be thrilled to have a dog sibling in her new home, though she’d also shine as the solo star. We’re not sure how she’d do with cats, but judging by her intense interest in backyard squirrels… probably best in a feline-free home. Fun Facts about Vessy: She loves her crate — it’s her cozy safe space. She’s an aspiring interior designer who enjoys moving shoes around the house (but has never destoyed or nibbled them!). 100% potty trained — not a single accident in her foster home! (Yes, we are now knocking on wood) Leash walking is still a work in progress, but she’s learning to trust it. She may whine a little at bedtime but quickly settles in for the night — and greets you in the morning with a nonstop wagging tail! Her huge, bat-like ears are the perfect finishing touch on her petite frame — rumor has it, her name came from an elf character in a book, which suits her whimsical charm perfectly. If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and personality-packed pup, Vespera might just be your girl! To fill out an application, please visit www.buffalounderdogs.com ##2544859##

Story
Meet Stella Luna! This 8-month-old girl is equal parts zoomies and snuggles! Stella Luna may be a little shy when you first meet her, but give her some belly rubs (and maybe a squeaky toy), and she’ll be your new best friend! She’s a total goofball who loves playing chase outside with her doggy pals and fetching squeaky toys indoors. After playtime, she loves curling up in her bed with a few of her favorite toys or next to her foster mom for a nap. Stella is house-trained, sleeps through the night like a champ, and is food-motivated. She’s still working on basic obedience, but she’s a smart cookie and eager to please! Because she’s a high-energy pup, Stella would thrive in a home with other playful dogs or an active family who can keep up with her adventurous spirit. If you're looking for a sweet, silly, and snuggly companion to join your pack, Stella Luna just might be your perfect match! Apply at www.buffalounderdogs.com/adopt  ##2544855##
