You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hey! I’m Zig! I’m a Carolina Dog mix with a goofy grin, a big heart, and lots of happy, well-behaved energy. I’ll be 1 year old in April 2026, and at about 40 pounds, I’m the perfect medium-sized adventure buddy. I’m playful, curious, and always ready for fun — but don’t worry, my energy is the good kind. I’m not destructive, and I know how to settle down when it’s time to relax. I love: Chew bones Puzzle games (I’m a smart boy!) Playing with other dogs Snuggling with my people and doggy siblings I get along great with other dogs, kids, and adults, and I’d be thrilled to have a dog friend in my forever home. I truly love being part of a pack. I’ve got my manners down too! I’m potty trained, leash trained, and crate trained, and I know my basic commands. I sleep well in my crate and handle daily routines like a pro. Car rides aren’t my favorite just yet, but I’m working on it. When I’m not playing, you’ll probably find me cuddled up with my humans or curled next to another dog. I’m affectionate, social, and happiest when I’m included in family life. My ideal home would be a playful, active family — especially one with another dog to romp with and people who enjoy both fun and snuggles.
