A small and timid puppy named Sugar awaits the warmth of a loving forever home. Her story is one of resilience and a desire to trust, as she navigates the journey towards finding her place in a human family. Sugar, true to her name, possesses a sweet and gentle nature. Initially reserved, this precious pup blossoms when surrounded by the company of other social dogs. It is through their companionship that Sugar begins to understand the trustworthiness of humans. In the presence of both big and small canine friends, she reveals playful bursts of energy, showcasing a delightful and endearing side to her personality. A defining aspect of Sugar's character is her affinity for a particular space – her crate. More than just a physical enclosure, the crate serves as Sugar's sanctuary, a haven where she finds solace and security. Understanding and respecting her need for this quiet retreat will be key to forging a deep and lasting connection with Sugar. Social interactions play a significant role in Sugar's world. She revels in the joy of playtime, fostering connections not only with dogs but also with cats, chinchillas, and chickens. Her adaptability and harmonious cohabitation with animals of various sizes reflect her open-hearted and accepting nature. While Sugar has made commendable progress in her house-training endeavors, she remains a work in progress. Continued supervision, patience, and positive reinforcement will be essential in guiding her towards becoming a well-mannered and confident member of her new family. The perfect home for Sugar is one that recognizes the importance of a gradual approach to building trust. A family with a social dog companion would offer the ideal environment, providing the support and companionship she needs to feel at ease. In this patient and loving setting, Sugar's unique personality can be appreciated, allowing for a balance of playtime and quiet moments. In considering the adoption of Sugar, one opens the door to a journey filled with love, loyalty, and the joy that comes with witnessing a timid puppy transform into a confident and cherished companion. Sugar eagerly anticipates the moment she can share a lifetime of happiness with a forever family – a family that might just be yours. Sugar is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Story
Darling Elle Mae is looking for her forever home!. She is a 1-year-old, 12-pound, cream/gold, Brussels Griffon mix?. This beautiful girl was born without toes on her left foot (looks to be a birth defect) but she is PERFECT... this minor defect does not stop her from walking or running. Elle Mae loves her toys and enjoys playing with other dogs. She has beautiful eyes that will melt your heart! She is such a LOVE BUG and will love you with her whole being. She would love to hang out on the couch with you and snuggle in your bed at night. She would love to use your lap for a nice nap? She is the perfect companion! Elle Mae came to us as a stray and not claimed by her owner. She keeps her kennel area clean and uses potty pads at night. She may need some leash training. She will require occasional professional grooming. She is scheduled to be spayed but we are looking for her home now. She is microchipped and current on vaccinations. Elle Mae is waiting to fill your heart and home with love!
