Hi, I’m Zim! 🐾💚👽
I’m a 6-year-old Chinese Crested mix with a tiny body, a HUGE heart, and one very important mission… to be as close to my favorite humans as physically possible! 🥹💚
If you're looking for a sweet little companion who will happily curl up in your lap, follow you around the house, and wiggle with excitement every time you give him attention, I think we might be a perfect match!
First things first… I LOVE my people!
And when I say love, I mean I want to be RIGHT next to you! 🤣💚
Whether you're sitting on the couch, working at your desk, or relaxing after a long day, I'll be looking for the closest possible spot to settle down. Ideally, that spot is your lap!
I'm what you might call a professional cuddle bug. I don't just want to sit near you… I want to be touching you! There's something about being close to my humans that makes me feel safe, happy, and loved.
And when you give me attention? Oh boy, get ready for the wiggles! 🐾
My foster says my whole little body wiggles with joy when someone shows me affection. I just get SO excited to know that someone wants to love on me!
I'm also a big fan of being held and carried. Sometimes the world feels a little intimidating from all the way down here, so being scooped up into loving arms makes everything feel a little better.
And if I'm not in your lap or being carried around, you'll probably find me curled up in the softest bed I can find, preferably somewhere close enough to keep an eye on you! 😴💚
Now, I have to tell you something important about me… I'm still learning to be brave.
I can be a little nervous and skittish, especially when I'm unsure about something. But my foster says I've already been gaining so much confidence in my foster home!
Every day, I'm learning that people can be kind, that new experiences don't always have to be scary, and that it's okay to let my sweet, spunky personality shine through.
Because underneath my occasional nervousness is a playful, affectionate little guy who absolutely LOVES attention! 🥹
I'm friendly with people who approach me gently, and I enjoy spending time with anyone willing to give me a little love. I don't necessarily need a completely quiet household, either! I can handle some activity around me.
What matters most is that I have humans who make time for me and don't let me get lost in the shuffle.
I'm also comfortable around small dogs and other well-mannered animals who respect my space. I don't mind sharing my home with furry friends, as long as everyone knows how to be gentle and polite.
And guess what? I'm already a pretty good little gentleman!
I'm crate trained, potty trained, and house trained! I even go into my crate on my own sometimes. Pretty impressive, right?
But here's the thing… while I don't mind my crate, I really don't like being alone.
I experience some separation anxiety, so my future family will need to understand that being away from my humans can be difficult for me. I'd do best with someone who is home often and can help me continue building confidence and independence at a comfortable pace.
I'm also still working on leash training, so I'll need a patient family willing to keep practicing with me.
My dream home would be with a small family of one to three people who have plenty of love and attention to give. I'd be happy in an apartment, townhome, or house, as long as I have a safe, cozy place to relax and humans who enjoy having a little shadow.
I'd also do well with gentle, respectful children ages 10 and older who understand that sometimes I need a little patience and reassurance.

He'll even go into his crate on his own, but he really doesn't like being alone. Zim deserves a family who will give him the attention, patience, and love he needs to feel safe and happy."
I know I can be a little nervous sometimes, and I might need extra reassurance while I continue learning about the world.
But I promise there's so much love waiting inside this little heart. 🥹💚
I don't need a huge house, fancy toys, or endless adventures to be happy. I just need a safe place to call home, a soft bed to curl up in, and someone who will let me be their little companion through everyday life.
I'll happily be your lap warmer, your tiny shadow, your cuddle buddy, and your biggest fan!

Adoption FEE: $350, which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals.

All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home.
Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need.
