Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! Hi! Hi! I'm Mac; you can call me Big Mac or Mighty Mac! I'm five years old, in great health, and have boundless energy. I lovvvveeee treats and learning new tricks. Sitting still isn't really my vibe until after some fun activities or a nice little trot walk. Because of my Napoleon complex, I may bark at you the first time I meet you. Just ignore me, pretend I'm not there, drop a treat trail, walk away, and I'll be by your side in a jiffy! I learn new skills quickly, and I have circus and agility dog aptitude if you're in the market to further my training, please. I just love running back and forth and over and under things to get a treat! See my video clips if you don't believe me. Lap dog? Maybe for a few minutes, but then I have places to explore. I'm not an all day couch potato is what I'm saying. After a nice walk adventure or training session, I'm more likely to comply with your need for cuddles. Walks? Absolutely! Let's gooooo! Car rides? Love them! You likely wonder about my bathroom behavior...humans always want to know such information. I am trained to go potty outside. If you feel you must put me in a crate, I will tolerate one. However, if you are home, I will vocalize my readiness to be released tout de suite. That's French for, "Get me out of here immediately if not sooner, Human!" Expens? Yes, I can jump out of the three foot tall ones. What's even better is that I jump back inside when I'm ready. Cats? If they ignore me; I ignore them. Dogs? Get in my face; I will snap back. Although, show me the respect an emperor deserves, and we'll get along just fine. Honestly, I'd like to be the only dog, but you can bring your canine to meet me if you think it can respect my space. I'm looking for a home with humans who want to continue teaching me new commands and/or tricks. I love to be engaged and busy, but I'll settle down next to you on the couch as well. I'm a loyal companion and I can accept new people into my life. Giving me a few minutes and lavishing treats upon me really helps the process. Loud households with small, messy children are a hard pass. An active, kind teenager would be fine, especially if he/she wants to train me to be the next AGT dog star! I'm gregarious and loving once I know you're my person. Hope to meet you soon! Estimated DOB: 05/14/2021 Adoption fee: $250 (6% KY sales tax included) We would love to hear from you!
