He brings a joyful presence to everyday life and thrives when he has a balance of activity and routine.Pokey is friendly, social, eager to engage and loves playing with other dogs. He does well living with cats and generally leaves them alone, showing minimal interest and good respect for their space. Pokey would do best with older kids, 10 and up who can appreciate his playful nature and help reinforce good manners.Pokey is fully house trained and crate trained with consistency and routine. He’s a quick learner and already knows basic commands like sit, down, paw, come, leave it, and off. He’s continuing to work on his leash skills and will keep improving with practice and consistency.Pokey is an always-happy companion who loves being part of the action and then snuggliest boy after a chance to get some energy out.
