Meet Benji — the tiny boy with the giant heart. At just 1 year old, this small mixed-breed sweetheart is fully grown, endlessly lovable, and so ready to finally have a family of his own. Benji has a gentle, easygoing soul that makes him the kind of dog everyone falls for instantly. He adores other dogs, is wonderful with kids, and will happily bounce from toy-time to cuddle-time without missing a beat. Benji is crate trained, uses the doggie door, and is about 75% potty trained, pretty impressive for a youngster who’s still learning the ropes. He’s playful, social, and ridiculously affectionate… the type of pup who wiggles his way into your heart and makes your home feel warmer the moment he walks in. If you’ve been wishing for a sweet, small companion who brings joy, calm, and a little splash of silly to everyday life, Benji is your boy. He’s ready for his forever family, and he’ll love you with every ounce of that big, bright heart of his. Story
Chiki is an approximately 7 year old mix of various terrier breeds and chihuahua. We rescued Chiki when we saw him get abandoned on the American River Trail. While we brought him to the shelter, he endeared himself with his cute face and cuddles, so we adopted him. We're no longer the best family for Chiki for a few reasons- he seems allergic to something in our household, and we have young children so we just don't have enough time to spend with him. Chiki's best traits: -Loves to cuddle 24/7 -Smart, he knows many tricks and learns quickly -Very food motivated -Will keep rats and mice away from your house -Ok with other small dogs Other things to know: -Chiki can be anxious, especially when people leave, but he's ok once you're gone -He's allergic to something in our house, causing skin and ear infections -He can be territorial The best situation for Chiki would be people who want a close companion that will curl up and cuddle them and who have time to spend with Chiki.
