Story
Lola was most likely abandoned in a subdivision, as she stayed in one place running from people trying to feed her. Once she felt she could trust us she gave her all. That says a lot about her personality. Lola has been a wonderful houseguest, getting on well with all the other dogs. Lola would be perfect in a one dog home. She enjoys playing with her person more than other dogs; but enjoys a good game of tug if she can coerce a friend to play. Lola loves frisbee. She has mastered the dog door and is very reliable indoors. No accidents and no destruction other than squeaky toys. We are working on walking skills, obedience and leave it when she sees the squirrels in the neighborhood. She has responded well to general corrections. Lola is very loving but not a band-aid dog. She was underweight but has filled out and put on a nice shiny coat. She is HW-, vaccinated and spayed. Lola would be a great dog for kids as she does not jump and is a small girl but likes to play. Found on Christmas Road, Lolli is wishing for a Christmas miracle! At the top of her list is a home for the holidays! Petite, long-limbed and shyly sweet, Lolli was found with another dog, and there is no telling how long they had been on their own. A simple request from this darling dog: to be in loving arms before the end of the year! A positive heartworm test shouldn't keep you from adopting this pint-sized gal--the shelter will take care of her treatment and make her good as new! Pop into the shelter and adopt Lolli!!
