Story
Squirt came to us from HSOY (Yuma) and settled in pretty easily to his foster home. He is friendly with new people he meets and does well with children, as long as they are respectful of his personal space and do not "force" themselves upon him. In the past, he has not liked being picked up. We believe that was due to a sore back. Squirt has had some acupuncture and chiropractic care which appears to have relieved the pain. He can now be picked up without incident as long as he is aware of your intention. Squirt likes other dogs but does not play, he just likes their companionship. He would be fine as an only dog also. Human affection is something that Squirt will search out when he wants some. He'll often walk up to you as you're sitting and stand up against you for some petting and loving but he is not one to lay on the couch or bed next to you. He doesn't like to be up on furniture. Squirt does walk nicely on a leash, and does fine in a crate for short periods. Squirt is housebroken in foster (with dog door) but will of course need to learn a new routine in his forever home. He is not destructive and can be left out without concerns about things getting chewed up. We estimate that Squirt is around 9 years old and about 15 lbs. Squirt received a dental while in rescue when he was neutered. He was tested for Valley Fever after he developed a slight limp and it came back as positive. He was put on meds for that. After about a month, we tested him again with a different test that would provide more detail. This more accurate test came back negative. The first test was most likely a false positive, which we have learned is not that uncommon. He is off the meds and has shown no signs of Valley Fever since. Loki is an amazing dog with "lab" temperament. He is a very sweet smart dog that loves to be involved in everything going on with the family. He is good with any animals tou may have and very gentle with children. He has been a joy to have in the family and it saddens us to have to part ways. Loli is truly the best dog we have had in our family and will make a great part of yours. He love to cuddle and he is content with lounging around all day or go I ng on an adventure.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Dust Bunny! Bunny is spayed and estimated to be about 2 years old. Though she could gain a pound or two, she currently sits at about 11lb! Bunny wants to be where you are. All. The. Time. If you’re looking for a cuddly lap warmer, this girl would love to be your little shadow. She is a people lover through and through, and gets excited each time anyone comes home ( or enters a room for that matter)! Though she is a young dog, she’s certainly an old soul. She’s learning to play with toys, but mostly wants to spend her time being pet. That being said, she is crated trained and quiet when you leave the house! She has also proven herself to be already potty trained. She is tolerant of grooming, and will need some brushing as her coat repairs itself—but appears to be non shedding. Her coat is thin and a little scraggly right now, hence the name! Bunny needs to be an only pet in her home, as she resource guards attention, space, and food from other animals. She is not and will never be a dog park dog, nor will she want dog/cat friends. She can tolerate dogs for outings like walks out in public or patio sitting, but simply does not want to share her people. She is perfectly content only hanging out with people! Bunny currently lives with a young child and has been nothing but gentle with her, so she’d likely do great in a house with them Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 17, 2026, 3:47 pm
