Hello there, lovely humans! I’m Reggie, a stunning 5-year-old, 15-pound tri-color English Toy Spaniel boy, and yes, I AM as gorgeous as that sounds! We English Toy Spaniels are known for being devoted companions with those sweet, soulful eyes and silky coats, and I’m here to tell you—the hype is real! My first three years weren’t great—I lived in a cage, which wasn’t exactly the royal treatment a spaniel of my caliber deserves. BUT! I’ve spent the past year in an amazing foster home learning what life is really supposed to be like, and wow, what a glow-up! I’ve got excellent house manners now (yes, I’m THAT sophisticated), and I’m finally ready to find a forever family! Wanna get to know me? —I get along great with other dogs and cats (I’m basically a social butterfly with fur). —I’m not a fan of kids—I prefer my humans to be of the grown-up variety and I prefer women over men so I am looking for an all-female family. —I am leash-trained and walk very nicely on a leash. —I know several basic commands…I’m a smarty! —And cuddles? I LIVE for cuddles! If you’re looking for a snuggle buddy who will stick to you like velcro, I’m your guy! A few important things about me: —I can get a little protective over my food bowl so I need to be fed separately from other pets. No biggie, just give me my own dining space and we’re golden! —Please no crates—I’ve done my time in cages and now I want to lounge on soft beds and couches like I deserve! —I’m afraid of loud noises and storms and will crawl under things (like a bed) to hide. Do you have room in your heart (and on your couch) for a cuddly English Toy Spaniel who’s ready to embrace all the love life has to offer? Let’s see if we are a match.
