Meet Your New Shadow ❤️ Looking for a tiny best friend to keep you company? This sweet senior Pekingese may be your perfect match. She is the definition of a Velcro dog. Wherever you go, she’ll happily scoot right behind you, content just to be near her favorite person. Whether you’re reading on the couch, working from home, or making a cup of coffee, she’ll be there! This gentle girl is calm, affectionate, and happiest when she’s snoozing nearby. While she’s perfectly polite with other dogs, she’s much more interested in spending time with her humans than finding canine playmates. She has bilateral hip dysplasia, but don’t tell her that! It certainly doesn’t stop her from making her rounds! She also rides great in the car and loves coming along on adventures tucked safely into her little tote bag. We’re currently working on her potty routine. When she came to us she had a huge bladder stone (all taken care of) but will have to be on a special urinary diet from here on out. She will do her business outside if you plop her in the grass and has been consistently using pee pads and her own little turf pad when we are away for the day. If you’re hoping for a low-key, loving companion who asks for nothing more than your company, this precious little lady is ready to steal your heart. She has so much love left to give and is just waiting for someone to spend her golden years with.
