FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Lunala! Lunala is a 4-year-old, 20 lb Pekingese with a soft, fluffy coat and sweet brown eyes! She’s a gentle girl who enjoys going on walks with her people and curling up for cuddles afterward once she has had time to bond with you and build trust. Lunala is still building her confidence with the world and can be a bit shy and skittish at first. Because of this, she would do best in a calmer environment—somewhere outside the hustle and bustle of busy city life—with patient adopters who have experience helping shy dogs gain confidence and come out of their shells at their own pace. She is great with other dogs and enjoys playing with them, and she would thrive in a home with a confident, well-adjusted canine companion who can help show her the ropes and help her feel more secure. Lunala could also do well as an only dog with continued socialization and a very patient adopter committed to helping her grow her confidence. Due to her shy nature, Lunala would do best in a home without young children, or with older, respectful kids who understand how to give a shy dog the space she needs. Lunala is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Meet Fletchy! He is a 2-year-old, 15 lb Pekinese with the cutest underbite you have ever seen. Fletchy is a gentle, easygoing boy who’s learning just how good life can be. He loves walks, yard zoomies, rope toys, and curling up on the couch with his people. Fletchy is still building his confidence and can be shy and skittish at first, but he’s made great progress in his foster home. With patience and encouragement, he continues to grow and his sweet personality shines through. He is housetrained when kept on a schedule, leash trained and crate trained. He’s been living peacefully with a cat in his foster home and does well with other dogs. He would thrive in a home with a confident, well-adjusted canine companion to help show him the ropes and boost his confidence. Because of his sensitive nature, Fletchy would do best in a calm household with a securely fenced yard outside the hustle and bustle of busy city life. Fletchy is doing well with establishing routines and will continue to thrive with consistency and gentle guidance. If you’re searching for a soft, loving, low-key pup to share your days—and your couch—Fletchy might just be your perfect match. Fletchy is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped.
