Story
Bandit's human caregivers died unexpectedly within 2 months of each other. I am the brother in law that is handling the estate, and trying to care for Bandit, as he is home by himself. None of his surviving human relatives are able or willing to provide a new home for him. He is 17yrs old based on what the owner told the vet when Bandit got his Rabies Vaccine. The owner adopted him from a local BVSPCA 14 years ago. They will not take him because they said that he would not do well in a kennel environment. Some of the rescues that I have contacted even suggested that the best thing for the dog is to have him euthanized. I live in PA approx 13 miles away, and go daily to the Newark De home to care for Bandit. He has plenty of energy. We go for daily walks anywhere from 1.25 to 2.5 miles. He loves to be at your feet and all the attention you are willing to give him. I am not sure how house broken he is. Being alone most of the day, I often have a mess to clean up.

Story
Lucy is an 8 month old 100% Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She was born on 8/12/2023. I got her from a breeder. She is up to date on all her shots but is not spayed yet per my vet she needs to go into her 1st heat cycle due to an inverted vulva. Once done she can be spayed then. She is crate trained. She is very friendly, lovable and loves treats, especially ice cubes. She is very easy to train. She does need to be socialized with other dogs, therefore I want her to go to a family with other animals. She also needs a lot of attention. She does tend to get separation anxiety if she is left for long periods of time. She does have high energy but she is so much fun as she has this quirky personality...she will keep you laughing. I do walk her with a harness as she does still pull since she gets excited when we are outside. She will come with all her toys, treats, dog food & her crate. She needs someone who will be dominant but fun or she will overrun you.

Story
WRANGLER is it two-year-old Pembroke Corgi. He was living on an Amish farm, but “not doing his business“. Everybody has to put in on an Amish farm and since he was not putting out, he got the boot. Wrangler is a little shy in new situations since he never got off the farm, but he is a pretty well adjusted boy. He took to leash walking very quickly and is a superb copilot in the car.  Wrangler has been great with all the dogs and doesn't pay attention to the cats. He was raised with kids and did well with the toddler on the farm. Wrangler has been neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for heartworm and microchipped and ready to go home with you! Please fill out an application at www.companimals.org if you’re looking for a dog that is short on height but high on personality! Home visit required. Adoption $500. May 2, 2024, 2:18 pm
