Story
Meet Brewster! At just 1 year old and 7 pounds, Brewster is a pint-sized Chihuahua mix with giant ears that suggest there may be a little Corgi somewhere in his family tree. Whatever his mix, one thing is certain—he's absolutely adorable. Brewster is the kind of dog who picks his person and immediately decides you're his favorite thing in the world. He loves being close to his humans and is happiest when he can keep an eye on you. He's perfectly content in a crate, rides well in the car, and handles both just fine—as long as you're nearby where he can see you. This handsome little guy is potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, and loves to cuddle. In fact, Brewster may just be one of the best snugglers around. When meeting new dogs, Brewster occasionally likes to test the waters and see if he can be in charge. Thankfully, he's easily corrected and quickly accepts when someone else is calling the shots. Once that's settled, he loves playing with other dogs his size and enjoys having canine friends. 1 year old • 7 pounds • Chihuahua Mix • Male✔ Potty trained✔ Leash trained✔ Loves to cuddle✔ Great in the crate✔ Good in the car✔ Bonds quickly with his people✔ Good with other small dogs✔ Playful and affectionate If you're looking for a loyal little shadow with oversized ears, a big personality, and an even bigger heart, Brewster may be your perfect match. Please apply here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DBSR/Dog His minimum adoption donation amount is $375. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, heart worm checked, and on flea/tick and heart worm preventatives. We are located in Bloomington, IL We do not ship, you would need to travel to pick up your babies if you live out of state. Your current pets must be up-to-date on core vaccines, spayed/neutered, and on heart worm prevention year round. You must be at least 21-years-old to adopt. Please have your veterinarian and two non-family reference phone numbers ready. The app makes you start all over if you leave the page to look up numbers. Story
Randy is a 5-year-old male corgi mix who is available for adoption at CCHS! Randy was found in a park, so we don't know much about him. The person who found him said that he is dog-friendly, good on a leash, and that he loves snacks (he likes wet food, meaty treats, and Milk Bones!) He's a calm, easy-going guy, and he does need to lose a bit of weight. Come meet this little chonk at CCHS!
