After being dropped at a North Texas shelter, Poe’s story could have ended in stress and uncertainty — but we have a soft spot for seniors and couldn’t let him spend his golden years watching the clock in a kennel. But SURPRISE our vet aged him at just 5 years old! He's has the wisdom of a much older dog, and you can see from his grayed muzzle that he has had a tough life. Don't worry sweet boy, we are here to make sure the next chapter is the BEST chapter. Now safe in rescue, Poe is showing everyone exactly who he is: gentle, calm, and endlessly loving. He’s fully vetted, crate trained, potty trained, and wonderfully easy to live with. Poe gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and kids alike, making him a truly adaptable companion.
