Persian kittens & cats in Anchorage, Alaska

Dalek is a sweet boy who seems love to everybody. He even gives affectionate head bumps to other cats and dogs who share his space (even if they don’t want them 😆) His meows are adorable and sound almost kitten like. Dalek, who should have been named Mr Whiskers, has striking white whiskers that stand out against his black coat. He is a BIG guy, large frame but also a little extra chub. We think he is about 6 years old. He does have a vision impairment in one eye, but he seems to manage fine despite that. A nice calm home without conflict would be perfect fit for him. He has a quiet easy nature and will be an easy one to love in his new family. He will need an outside area to go on summer days to get a little exercise and enjoy the scent and sounds of the natural world. He is in Anchorage. Call 907 980-8898

Slippy desperately wants love. He is a very submissive kitty who will come to you if he sees you moving through the house or if you call him.. He does startle at loud noises and would prefer a quiet household. Slippy has FIV, a virus that can affect his immune system but FIV cats often live long and healthy lives. FIV is contagious to other cats but only through blood exchange such as fighting. And Slippy is so gentle and non-aggressive that he would not want to fight anyone. So he could easily reside with another easy going cat who would like a kind and loving friend. We are unsure how he is with dogs as once he gets in the busyness of his foster home he tends to hide. He is very happy and content away from the chaos and is ready to be your cuddly lap kitty. He is about 2 years old, neutered, vaccinated and chipped. Available through Clear Creek Cat Rescue. Meet Mayhem - or “Ham,” as her foster mom lovingly calls her! She's a beautiful girl with a rich, lush coat, a little tabby cap set off to the side, and the most striking eyeliner! Ham was trapped outside with her brothers and sisters and, from the beginning, showed a spark of curiosity about humans. But surrounded by her whole kitty crew, she didn’t have much reason to be brave on her own. So Ham moved to a new foster home with two confident adult cats and that’s when she really started to blossom. Since then, Ham has gained SO much confidence! She comes out openly when people are around, zooms through the house, explores everything, plays like crazy, and loves curling up for naps with her foster brothers. Some of her favorite activities include watching Bird TV, hunting any unfortunate bug that wanders into the house, and joining the nightly cuddle puddle on the bed. She’ll often make biscuits next to everyone and has even been known to sleep right on top of her foster mom. Ham still isn’t quite convinced that human hands are for petting, and that’s okay. She enjoys being near her people on her own terms and continues to get braver all the time. Her perfect family will be patient, understanding, and happy to let her relationship with humans develop at her pace. One thing Ham is VERY sure about: she loves other cats. She will need at least one kind, confident kitty friend in her forever home to play with, snuggle with, and continue showing her that humans really aren’t so bad. Ham would also love a safe, secure outdoor space like a catio or safe yard where she can enjoy the sights, smells, bugs, and fresh air she grew up with. She’s spunky, curious, playful, and absolutely full of life. Ham may not be your traditional lap cat (yet!), but she has so much personality and affection to give in her own special way.
