Meet one of our beautiful Persian cats available for adoption- Sooky is a regal matriarch from a large group recently rescued. Like many Persians, Sooky may experience some breathing and eye issues due to their flat-faced features. Sooky is a very friendly and outgoing lady but has limits to how she is handled and would prefer a home without children grabbing her. A calm environment and attentive care will help her thrive as queen supreme in her new home. Though initially possibly a bit nervous around new people in a new place, she quickly adjusts and will make herself at home and share her love. They've shown they can get along with other cats after a slow and thoughtful introduction though Sooky likes to be the boss and may correct other felines if she doesn't want them in her space. In fact Sooky, can be considered quite the mother of the group. She has had her own litters of kittens and has even stepped up to care for other kittens whose mothers were too unwell. Now Sooky is ready to focus on her own health and well-being. If you're looking for a quiet, loving feline who needs a little extra understanding, Sooky might be the perfect match.
