Meet one of our beautiful Persian cats available for adoption- Persephone is a super loving lady from a large group recently rescued. Like many Persians, Persephone may experience some breathing and eye issues due to their flat-faced features. Persephone is a very friendly and outgoing lady but may be a bit nervous initially in a new environment. Loving and attentive care will help her thrive in her new home and quickly adjust so that she will make herself at home and share her love. They've shown they can get along with other cats after a slow and thoughtful introduction. If you're looking for a quiet, loving feline who needs a little extra understanding and care, Persephone might be the perfect match. Rescued with 82 others in a time of crisis, this kitty has been through so much in just a few weeks-and is now ready for the peace and comfort of a forever home. She has been exposed to an upper respiratory virus and it is recommended she be indoor only and other cats in the home are fully vaccinated. Due to her previous illness she received some scarring on her corneas which will need to be monitored for irritation.
