Story
Meet Zoey — a 17-year-young queen with signature airplane ears and a very strong sense that she is, in fact, superior to humans. Zoey is sassy, confident, and fully believes she's in charge, but don't let the judgment fool you — she is a genuinely sweet girl. She loves chin scratches and a good butt rub, enjoys attention on her terms, and balances independence with affection beautifully. Zoey has stage 1 kidney disease based on blood work and is doing well. After the loss of her owner, she's looking for a quiet, loving home to spend her golden months — or years - being adored, respected, and properly admired. Zoey is being cared for by a member of the community.  To arrange to meet this cat or find out more, please fill out our application here: https://www.thedancingcat.org/adopt-courtesy For more information regarding our Courtesy Posts, see www.thedancingcat.org/courtesy-postsJanuary 27, 2026, 3:37 pm

Story
Princess Froggie is a total sweetheart with a big personality and an even bigger love for companionship. She’s sociable, easygoing, and quick to warm up to new people. Once you start petting her, she’ll happily flop onto her side, show off her belly, and purr up a storm. Princess is playful and curious, especially when it comes to wand toys, feathers, and little balls (bonus points if there’s a catnip pickle involved). She’s still learning how to play independently, but she loves interactive playtime with her people.  She loves wet food and wet treats, but is not a big fan of anything crunchy, which works out perfectly, since wet food is healthier for cats anyway. She is vocal if she feels lonely, but call her name and she’ll come right over with happy meows. She loves being with others: she does well with other cats, enjoys joining the grooming pile, and prefers to eat with company. At night, she sleeps on the bed with her humans and loves to make biscuits on a pillow or blanket. Princess Froggie would be a match for someone who wants a cuddly, snuggly companion and is home often, whether working from home or sharing space with other pets.  Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. This cat is currently in a foster home. To meet the cat, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. Story
Sadie is a 10-year-old long-haired with a gentle, thoughtful personality. She’s independent, low-maintenance, and happiest in a peaceful, low-key environment. She enjoys doing her own thing and doesn’t need constant attention, making her a wonderful companion for someone who values calm energy and quiet presence. She’s affectionate on her own terms and can be such a sweetie once she feels comfortable—those moments of affection feel extra special because she chooses them. She loves warm, cozy spaces like sunny windows, blankets, and heaters, and will happily spend her days relaxing nearby. She can be shy around new people and loud environments, but thrives with patience, routine, and respect for her space. She would do best in a calm home with someone who appreciates an independent cat with a soft, loving side and understands that trust takes time. In the right home, she’ll be a peaceful, comforting presence and a truly special companion. Sadie is being cared for by a member of the community.  To arrange to meet this cat or find out more, please fill out our application here: https://www.thedancingcat.org/adopt-courtesy For more information regarding our Courtesy Posts, see www.thedancingcat.org/courtesy-postsJanuary 20, 2026, 8:34 pm
