Story
Coco was an owner surrender. Family stated initially that daughter had allergies to cat. Then stated Coco sometimes pees on rug outside of liter box. We have not found that to be true since intake. Her entire body was matted and it hurt her to be handled. We gave her a lions cut and now she loves to be held and petted. She is very calm but has no been exposed to other animals in her lifetime. Here at the sanctuary she is calm around dogs, big and small, but hisses at other cats. She has never been aggressive with other cats here just hisses. She is very curious, walks around house and enjoys time outside in catio. She is on a urinary diet from pervious guardians and likes it so we have not changed that. Loves treats and loves to play with wand toys. May 4, 2025, 12:44 pm

Please contact Renee (givethemahappylife@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. TO INQUIRE ABOUT THESE CATS email Renee at GiveThemAHappyLife@gmail.com  Include a bit about your home, who lives there and why you are interested in adopting a kittens now.  Thank you! Spicy was found with her leg stuck to a rat glue trap. With some of olive oil and a slight haircut we were finally able to free her and bring her home. After giving her a much needed bath, an adorable fluffy kitten was found underneath!Words to describe her would be playful, energetic, and fearless! Her favorite things to play with are a ball with a bell inside and a scratching post.Spicy would chose playing over being held until she is ready then will come to you for attention.  She's a gal who know what she wants! For this reason, Spicy would be best in a home without young kids.  She has also become very comfortable the two large dogs in the home and enjoys trying to catch their wagging tails.Spicy is full of personality and would love to be an addition to your home! Spicy is in a home with adult cats and dogs.  Spicy is not fond of the cats so should go to a home without other cats.   Courtney  Click here to watch a video of Spicy.April 9, 2025, 6:24 pm

Story
Daisy is petite Persian girl who would love to be your lap cat. She is also very good at sharing the bed with you and sleeping on the couch. Daisy is about a year and a half old, but she still loves playing with a laser pointer and wand toys. She loves chasing the little red dot up and down the hall. Do you have room in your home and heart for this pretty flower girl? All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, FVRCP vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. All of our kittens must go to homes where they will remain inside 24/7. We'd love to schedule a meet & greet with you and the kittens! If you're interested in adopting, please visit our website and fill out an application: https://toniskittyrescue.org/adoption-application

Story
☆BONDED PAIR SIBLING☆ Midnight is a 1st generation indoor/outdoor cat. She is about 3 years old. Her mother was a neighborhood cat that got pregnant and gave birth indoors. Her mother quickly returned outdoors. Midnight and her 3 siblings were raised by myself and my family. I took her and her brother, Mini in as soon as they were weaned and litter trained. ●She was vaccinated as a kitten, but hasn't been updated as an adult. ●She loves to cuddle, but definitely when she wants to. She's very good at hiding and enjoys watching from a distance. Loud noises do scare her. ●She is beautiful, soft and fluffy with a gorgeous long torty coat! ●She was raised in a household with mixed pets (small/medium sized dogs, reptiles) and kids (elementary school aged).

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Princess with a Big Heart & TailMercedes is a fun loving princess looking for her forever home. Mercedes is initially shy and it takes a few days for her to take over the house. Then she will own the place and will tell you so. She is quite vocal when she wants to play and at meal times. She loves chasing after feather and other wand toys. She requires you to participate. She naps on her own and plays with her humans. Mercedes wants to be a lap cat but she needs to know you first. Initially she prefers to sit next to her human while they read or watched television. She enjoys brushing. It's needed to care for all that fluff. That fur makes her look larger than she is. After years as a single cat, Mercedes is not prepared to share her human with another cat. She truly wants to be the princess in the castle. When Mercedes returned to us she received a complete medical check up and updated vaccines. Unfortunately the vet found two problems. Mercedes has a grade 2-3 heart murmur and mild to moderate hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. She receives twice daily oral medication that she takes without complaining. Fortunately Mercedes is completely asymptomatic and enjoys and active life. Her heart problems do not stop her from running around just like a healthy cat. Come meet Mercedes and her tail. It has a life of its own. Here is her kitten bio: Mercedes was named after the car under which she was found. She was a scrappy little girl at 1.5 lbs, ready to take on all comers. With some TLC and regular meals, Mercedes no longer hides under the bed and prefers being with people. She knows being an extrovert is a lot more fun. While she plays well alone, attacking her toys and packing paper, she prefers interacting with her human friends getting them to move the wand toys and using their legs as launch pads. After playtime, a lap is a good place to crash. Mercedes is vocal only at meal time. She has the cutest “mew.” She also likes a solid routine: food, play, nap, cuddles Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. To Adopt one of our Cats or Kittens, please fill out an Online Adoption Application on our website  https://www.13thstcats.org/info/adoption If the animal bio says that they are a "Courtesy Listing", the contact information will be included in the animal bio for you to reach out to them directly. Thank you for wanting to Adopt! -------------- 13thstcats.org is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill Rescue Group based in San Jose.
