Story
DOB: February 14, 2025 • Pure Persian (orange male) • DNA tested with excellent health report (full report available) • All vaccines and rabies up to date • Both parents are CFA-registered show-quality Persians Atom is a stunning purebred orange Persian boy with a luxurious, fluffy coat and an incredibly sweet personality. He is extremely affectionate, loves cuddles, and will happily follow you around like a little puppy. He has a calm, gentle temperament and is very well-socialized, great with other cats, dogs, and children. He is healthy, happy, and thriving. The vet recommended a urinary-support diet simply to maintain optimal long-term health since he doesn’t naturally drink a lot of water (very common for cats). He eats well and has had no issues. I originally purchased him from a breeder for $4,500. Unfortunately, due to my busy schedule and my boyfriend’s allergies, I’m unable to keep him. I’m looking for a loving, responsible forever home where he will be cherished.

Story
My cat is a beautiful, loving, clever, and healthy cat. She is a Persian, mostly grey cat. She loves space and feeling free to move around as much as she likes to sit by the window for hours and watch the world go by. She loves to have her castle put by the window and uses it to sleep in as well. She's now 13 years old and a pleasure to have. She loves to be combed and to sit on my lap, all at her own time. I love her a lot and am looking for a family that loves cats as I will be travelling for work. Her voice is never loud when she meows. She eats dry food: now Beyond and before on Royal Canin. I never gave her human food apart from small bites of nuts . I have a water fountain for her to drink, and she loves her scratching post.

Story
Rue is a lovely Persian mix senior who will tolerate other cats or a small dog; she would be fine as an only cat also. She is on twice daily meds for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, which the foster can provide a supply for you. She is also on a renal diet. She would love to sleep on the bed with you and perch on a cat tree nearby. Her foster mom hasn't had her very long so they are still getting to know each other. She is a playful cat who loves her feather toy. She also loves being brushed. Her owner couldn't take care of her anymore; so took her to the shelter, where she stay for over 4 months. The shelter staff loved her because she is so sweet and friendly. She has a recent dental cleaning and saw a cardiologist. Please consider giving this special girl a nice home to live out her golden years. Please contact the foster at Savetinylives@gmail.com

Story
Hi, I’m Penny.  I came to SBACC as a kitten and was adopted at three months old.  I had a home for over five years, but things weren’t going well, and I was returned.  It took me a while to feel comfortable back at SBACC, but I’ve adjusted and am getting back to being the friendly girl I used to be. I’m not really a fan of the other cats in my room, so I keep to myself and sometimes don’t use the litterbox to avoid them. But I do enjoy attention and pets, and in the right home without a bunch of other cats, I think I’ll do fine!  I have a very soft, fluffy coat, and I’m told I’m a very pretty kitty.  I hope to find a home with a Mom or Dad or a family who will love me forever. Story
Hi, I’m Angelique. My three littermates and I were rescued from the street in Seal Beach when we were about two months old.  We were all very scared as we hadn’t been around people before. At first, we were considered feral, but we were sent to a foster home and calmed down quite a bit.  My foster home had other kittens, big cats, and dogs. I loved the big cats and was fine with the kittens, but the dogs scared me. Two of our sibs were adopted by an SBACC volunteer.  I’m a shy girl who gets scared easily, and I don’t welcome pets or being picked up. I’m really quite content at the shelter with my sister Abbie and several other cats who don’t welcome the human touch. December 28, 2025, 1:11 pm

Story
Hi, I’m Margaret Mary.  I was rescued from someone’s porch along with my five five-day-old kittens.  I came to SBACC, then went to a foster home, but I was so protective of my kittens that I wouldn’t let my foster Mom near them or me. So we all came back to SBACC, and I nursed and raised my kittens in a special back room at the shelter.  Once the kittens were eating on their own, they went to a foster home, and I stayed at the shelter to get ready for my forever home.  I’m a very friendly girl, and the people who originally found me said I would sit on their laps and eat from their hands.  I’m now ready to do that with my forever family. Because I’m not a fan of other cats, I sometimes don’t use the litterbox properly, but in a home of my own, I think I would do fine! One more thing I should tell you.  I’m FIV+.  It’s not that big a deal.  Despite what many people think, cats with FIV can live long, healthy lives. It’s not contagious, and it can’t be transmitted from cat to cat by sharing food, water, or litter boxes. February 12, 2026, 3:08 pm
