Persian kittens & cats in Grand Junction, Colorado

Knight-Rider is a beautiful long hair cat, but isn’t very friendly, and would welcome being a working barn cat that provides shelter from the heat and cold, food and water. He likes to hang out with another cat in a window sill who is also not friendly (see picture with Espresso). The two would make good pair for a responsible owner seeking working cats, that work well together and would appreciate a consistent caring environment.🐾 Ready to Adopt a working cat? Tip 1: It is important to remember that she/he is going to need time to acclimate to their new environment – better to place in a confined space with food, water and litter box for about a week or two before releasing into a barn-like open space area. TIP 2: Please make sure your home or lease allows pets and that you and others are prepared to welcome a new cat. TIP 3: For any pet, have the essentials ready: food and water, cat food, litter and a litter box (when needed), space for cozy, warm bedding, carrier and a designated veterinarian for ongoing care and/or vaccinations.

Meet Geisha – A Sweet, Resilient Girl Looking for Her Forever Home 🐾Geisha is an estimated 4–5 years old and the loving mother of a litter of kittens born on my property. She was a stray I had been feeding, and after discovering her kittens, I brought the whole family indoors. Although she was shy at first, it quickly became clear that Geisha had once known life with people, and she settled into indoor living with ease.Geisha is a gentle, affectionate cat who loves being petted and brushed. She isn't shy about asking for attention and will happily let you know when she'd like some love. She does well on dry cat food but has a big appetite, so portion control is important to help her stay healthy.Rehoming Geisha has been an incredibly difficult decision due to my move to a smaller home. My hope is to find her a loving family where she can thrive.
