Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hello… I’m Elton 👑🐾 I’m a 4-year-old Persian gentleman with refined tastes and a soft, sensitive heart. I may be a little shy and nervous at first, but underneath this luxurious coat is a very sweet, kind soul who just wants to feel safe and cherished. I operate on my own terms — as any proper Persian should. I’m not really interested in learning commands (I prefer to supervise rather than perform), but I *am* perfectly house trained and respectful in the home. I enjoy playing with my toys and, more than anything, I like having my person nearby. You don’t always have to be petting me — I just like your presence. Being close makes me feel secure. I would do best in a calm, small household — one or two people who can truly dote on me and give me the attentive care I deserve. I’m a bit high maintenance (have you seen this coat?), so I need someone committed to my grooming and overall care. If there are too many other high-maintenance pets in the home, I might feel overwhelmed. I do well with older cats and would be happy with a mellow feline companion. Because I’m sensitive and shy, I’d prefer older children (10+) who understand gentle handling and quiet spaces. My ideal home includes: 🐱 Possibly a calm cat sibling 👩‍❤️‍👨 A small, devoted household (1–3 people) 💛 Older, respectful kids (10+) ✨ Someone ready to spoil me a little If you’re looking for a gentle, independent but loving companion who will quietly keep you company and add a touch of elegance to your home — I’m your Elton. All I need is patience, devotion, and a cozy spot near you. Adoption FEE: $300 which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption. TO ADOPT, APPLY ONLINE: www.mercyfullprojects.org PLEASE NOTE: We do our best to supply all known information about each animal in their profile. If you have additional questions, you may send an inquiry email to adopt@mercyfullprojects.org to be answered at our earliest convenience. All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home. Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need. **Our companions MUST live in your home as part of your family. **We do not transport. **Review our website for more information. Story
Meet Mugsy a 3 year old Persian boy with a soft coat and an even softer heart. He can be a little shy when you first meet him, but do not let that fool you once you start petting him, he quickly melts into the sweetest, most affectionate companion. He absolutely loves gentle attention and will happily soak up all the love you have to give. Mugsy got his name because of his adorable mean mug expression. His previous owners thought he looked like he was giving them a tough stare when they first saw him, and the name Mugsy stuck! Despite his serious look, he is truly a gentle, loving boy who just needs a little time to feel comfortable. Once he does, you will see just how special he is. For more information on how to adopt, please call the shelter at 863 324 5227 to see if this pet is still available for adoption. Then come to the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 10:30 to 6 Tuesday through Friday, Saturday from 10:30 to 4 closed 1 to 2 for lunch and the last Friday of every month.

This is a sister to a brother cat I will also be listing they were found under a house as newborns and were rescued my sister and myself. We fixed them up and got them strong and healthy and they’ve been living with me ever since. They love attention but are shy with new people. I live in a small house and am pregnant with a baby and my husband is very allergic to cats. I want to find a loving home where they can relax and be loved on.

This is the brother of a sister I’m also listing. They were both found as newborns under a house and were saved by my sister and myself. We got them all fixed up and healthy and they’ve lived with me ever since. I am currently pregnant with my first baby in a small house and my husband is severely allergic to cats. I am looking for a loving home for them to be looked after. They love attention and to be cuddled after getting to know you.
