Persian kittens & cats in Rome, Georgia

Hi! I’m MASON (DOB: ~01/18/2019), a male purebred Shaded Silver Persian. I was surrendered to a local animal control with several of my siblings when my owner could no longer care for me. I lacked full socialization at the time I made my way to FFRS, but now I am a good boy - making a 180° turn-around since my intake, allow petting, and I would love a calm home with someone who is patient with me. I am not shy or aggressive – I just don’t yet fully understand this whole affection thing. Sometimes I like it a lot. My main motivation is treats that make me very happy. I forget my lack of socialization skills when someone plays with me. I can be petted, but I prefer it just be my head and shoulders and I absolutely LUV my neck massages and will reach out asking for one! I will let you know when I’ve had enough petting by backing away. I have have started purring when I'm petted. I don’t seem to mind other cats as long as they are nice to me but have not met any dogs. My manners are wonderful and with patience, I may become a cat who likes to be nearby on the sofa with you or maybe even on the bed. I don’t think I will ever be a snuggly kind of guy, but I am a good gentleman and will be a good companion. I am neutered, up-to-date with vaccines, negative for Feline FIV/FeLV, dewormed, have received flea preventative, and am microchipped. My adoption fee is $300.00.October 23, 2026, 5:36 pm

Honey is the sweetest Persian in the world! She loves to be loved on and not aggressive! Get along with adults and children. Honey prefer not to be around dogs

Yarbrough still finds people a bit sketchy and would rather you not mess with him. However, he likes to sit and watch you and admire your beauty and the ability you have to feed him and give him fresh water. He doesn't even mind you slowly tossing him a toy.He loves other cats and will play and play and play with them until they finally have to tell him to move on. Yarbrough is hoping your cat needs a companion to play with when you are tired and just need a little cat free time. He promises to babysit all your other cats and keep them occupied. Who knows, he may even get some encouragement from them about what a great person you are and he may need up loving you as much as the cats you have adopted him to herd around.Think about it!!! Is your cat wild - does he need someone to wear himself out with? Yarbrough is your man. He is up to the job.

Born March 12, 2026, adorable little Mercer is ready to find a patient, loving forever home. She may be tiny, but she's full of potential and has the sweetest heart. She can be a little shy and slow to warm up when meeting new people, but once she feels safe, her gentle and affectionate personality starts to shine. Like many kittens who were born to outside colonies, she's still learning how to play with toys and discover just how much fun being a kitten can be! Watching her gain confidence and come out of her shell is incredibly rewarding. If you're looking for a kitten who will blossom with love, patience, and kindness, this precious girl may be the perfect match. She deserves a family who will cherish her for the wonderful little soul she is and help her continue learning that the world is a safe and happy place. Mercer is currently at my home with her two brothers, Fiddler and Archer, and her two cousins, Riley and Sardine.

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to learn about Fiddler. Fiddler is a wonderful little guy who was born on March 12, 2026, alongside his brother, Archer, and his sister, Mercer. I care for a colony of semi-social cats and kittens at my workplace. Once I am able to safely trap them, I ensure they are spayed or neutered, vaccinated against rabies, dewormed, treated for fleas, and ear-tipped. The ear tip serves as a universal sign that they have already been through the Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) process, should they ultimately return to the colony. During their recovery period in my home, I assess each cat's comfort level with people and determine whether they are social enough to thrive in a home environment or if they would be happier returning to their outdoor colony as part of a TNR program. Fiddler has had the opportunity to begin this assessment, and would definitely be most comfortable if he and Archer were adopted together.
