Story
Meet Russian – the elegant white Persian looking for his forever home! Russian is a stunning white Persian (non-registered purebred) with a luxurious coat that's currently growing back after a necessary shave-down due to severe matting from his previous home. This handsome boy arrived with his brother Chocolate when their owner moved in with an allergic fiancé—now they're ready for new chapters, possibly separately since they're friendly but not tightly bonded. Russian is a sweet, affectionate cat who loves seeking out attention without being demanding or overly clingy. He's gentle and lovely, with that classic Persian charm. We're actively working with him on grooming tolerance—he's learning to enjoy daily brushing and facial care, which will be essential once his gorgeous long fur fully returns. This dedicated boy will thrive with an adopter committed to his grooming needs (think regular sessions to keep that coat mat-free and his face clean). In return, you'll get a calm, loving companion who enjoys quiet cuddles and being near his people. Russian is looking for a home where someone has time for his beauty routine and plenty of lap space for him to relax. If you're ready to pamper a sweet Persian prince and help him shine again, Russian is waiting! Our cats and Kittens are fed a variety of high quality cat food including Fromm, Wellness, American Journey, Instinct, Stella and Chewy, Weruva and similar brands that are free of Corn, Soy, Carrageen, Artificial Flavors and Colors . Adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, HCPCh, FeLv), booster shots of HCPCh, and FeLv, microchip, FIV/FeLv testing, and deworming. Apply at bfrescue.com/cats

Meet Chocolate – the stunning white Persian ready for his forever home! Chocolate is a gorgeous white Persian (non-registered purebred) with a luxurious, pristine coat and that classic Persian elegance. This sweet boy arrived with his brother Russian when their owner moved in with an allergic fiancé—now they're both hoping for new loving homes, possibly separate, since they're friendly, but not tightly bonded. Chocolate is a lovely, affectionate cat who enjoys seeking out attention in a calm, gentle way—never over-the-top or demanding. He has that signature Persian sweetness and would make a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates a relaxed, cuddly feline friend. Both boys will benefit from dedicated grooming care, as Persians require regular brushing and facial upkeep to keep their luxurious coats beautiful and mat-free. We're working with them to ensure they tolerate daily sessions comfortably. Chocolate would thrive in home with an adopter committed to his grooming routine and plenty of quiet lap time for snuggles. If you're looking to welcome a plush, loving Persian prince with a beautiful white coat into your life, Chocolate is ready to steal your heart! Adoption fee $300 Our cats and Kittens are fed a variety of high quality cat food including Fromm, Wellness, American Journey, Instinct, Stella and Chewy, Weruva and similar brands that are free of Corn, Soy, Carrageen, Artificial Flavors and Colors . Please do not send inquiries. These cats can be visited at PetSmart in Carmel/Westfield (14720 Greyhound Plaza) during store business hours. Applications are available at the store. These are not “cuddlers”. These are young adults that came to us from Indy Neighborhood Cats when they were kittens. They were born feral and we have been working on socialization for months. They do NOT like to be picked up, and allow us to pet them on their terms. But they LOVE playtime with tunnels and cat trees. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO CONTINUE SOCIALIZATION and BE PATIENT. WE WILL ONLY ADOPT THEM AS A BONDED PAIR. Azalea is a sweet girl who will be the first to come out of her shell. She loves attention. But she loves her nightly can of Fancy Feast pate more! This will be the secret to winning both of them over. Larkspur will not let you move him, pick him up, or do anything to him, except pet him sometimes. He was the spiciest kitten when he came to us and hasn't changed much. He does not trust human hands. To trim claws, we do muzzle him. Thanks to another foster cat, Larkspur would come up to us begging for attention while the other foster cat got his daily loving. Larkspur ran off after a few pets. A PetSmart employee also helped with his socialization and now he comes out seeking attention when he gets his nightly canned food. Larkspur needs a covered litter box with no door or he'll overshoot the sides of the litter box. (The litter box in their cage is included with their adoption.) These cats have not been around dogs or small children. We insist on a cat-only household with children over 12. They do great with other cats. Azalea & Larkspur are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and are microchipped. Approximate date of birth is August 21, 2022. Adoption fee = $75 per cat ($150 total)
We'll also keep you updated on Larkspur's adoption status with email updates.
