Casper was surrendered to the owners veterinary. He had bit his owner after being stepped on. The elderly man needed medical attention and opted to have Casper euthanized so it didn’t happen again. Thankfully the vet office contacted us. Casper is quite upset over the change so it may take some time for him to settle down. He is 4-paw declawed.Indoor homes only unless the cat is part of our barn cat program. Home visits are required so we are limit adoptions to approximately 45 minutes from Cedar Rapids, IA. Iowa adoptions only -no out of state adoptions. Our Cedar Rapids adoption center is open by appointment only at this time. You may schedule an appointment on our Facebook page or website. Around 7 years old, this spayed female is fully vaccinated and ready to find the loving home she deserves. After being heartbreakingly left outside by her original owner, Gemini has shown incredible resilience. She is friendly with people and clearly wants affection. She will happily accept your love and pets all day long… however, she does draw the line at being carried around. She’s looking for someone patient and kind who will give her the time and space to feel safe again. Are you a lover of online shopping? Gemini can get down with that! She loves when big boxes come in so she can just lounge and hangout in them. Can’t find her? She’s probably in a box. It’s her very own way of recycling! Gemini is very afraid of dogs and would do best in a dog-free home. She is a pretty laid back girl who does well with other kitties that have a similar demeanor as her. She would prefer a home without super young kitties as she doesn’t appreciate all their pizazz in her face. With patience and understanding, she has the potential to blossom into a devoted companion! She came into rescue with an injury to her eye, causing her to lose it completely.
