GETTING TO KNOW US
They are lovely, bonded pair of golden girls with matching light crystal blue eyes. Misha and Farrah joined PurrHarmony together and it became very evident that they do life better together. The girls get thick, sheep-like, bushy coats and look super cute like stuffed animals! Have you seen a more darling mature pair!
The girls might be a bit cautious upon first meeting but once comfy they both thoroughly enjoy being part of a family. Farrah, does a great elevator butt, hops on your lap and enjoys being held with her paws over your shoulder. Misha prefers to lay next to you and be pet or be carried around in her donut bed and placed next to you like a princess and told how pretty she is. Neither girl is playful but will saunter around plunking themselves down for a long nap as it suits them.
The girls will do best in a home with no dogs. Older, quiet respectful children and possibly would do well with a cat or two that would match their energy and respect their need for personal space. They are quiet girls who would flourish in quieter home that is cat savvy and patient. These girls would do great as the only pets in the home as well.
Being Persian/Himalayan they will need regular grooming and the usual daily eye cleaning. Breathing is not an issue for either girl. You must be well versed in daily upkeep with combing to maintain their coats. Trimming nails isn’t a problem once they trust you and you take your time and are patient.
They are picky about having their litter box kept clean. They must have large, open top litter boxes, with unscented scoopable litter. They currently have their boxes scooped two times per day, every three to four weeks the litter is changed out. To maintain their good health, they currently eat wet food that is schedule fed at breakfast and dinner. They have a stainless-steel water fountain for continuous clean water. They like horizontal and vertical scratchers.
Starting out in a room as basecamp with introductions and access to the home should be at a speed acceptable and safe to the girls and other pets in the home.
