Persian kittens & cats in Traverse City, Michigan

Meet Blackie 🐾 Blackie was one of four cats advertised as FREE on a sign taped to a hardware store door. Luckily, TC Paw happened to be running a spay/neuter clinic that very day. We contacted the owner, brought all four cats into the clinic, and then placed them in loving TC Paw foster homes. Like the others, Blackie was understandably confused by the sudden change and a bit standoffish at first—she even growled at the other cats. With time and stability, she has settled in beautifully and revealed her true nature: sweet, gentle, and affectionate. Blackie softly meows when she wants attention and enjoys having her face scratched. She has a healthy love of food, gets along well with kids and other cats, and has a gorgeous long coat paired with an occasionally grumpy-looking expression. Don’t be fooled—she’s not truly grumpy… except sometimes with her kittens, Moonie and Honeybee. And really, what mom isn’t? Blackie is ready for a home where she can continue to relax, be adored, and show off her loving personality.
