ALL our cats and dogs are in the NY area but can be adopted out of state to the purrfect furever home. In some cases, we can help transport. Zani's al fresco Summer Adoptions follow us on FB to find us this summer as we will try new locations to meet the needs of NYC and support the little stores:) Valentino is the sweetest of all the Saudi kitties, 1.5y, petit tiger. Bio from Saudi: abandoned, my friend couldn’t stand seeing him standing next to her neighbor's door every day so she took him in. We thought it would be easy to find him a home but sadly no one ever applied and he sat in a cage since Feb! He purrs upon eye contact and is very affectionate, huggable, and peaceful. He loves wet food and playing with balls that have bells. Gets along great w/ other cats, possibly dogs but we don't know that for sure. Please apply for this lovely little boy if you have another nice boy for him to be friends with, and Purrsian experience due to his coat. All kittens are adoptable in pairs only unless another age appropriate cat is in residence. Most of our adult cats also like cat company (most fosters are multicat homes). All are in the NY/NJ area but we will adopt out of state to the purrfect home and in some cases, we can arrange transport. NO exceptions! If you would prefer a solo cat, we would be happy to recommend those cats who would do best as solo cats. All our cats are tested for feline leukemia and FIV, FVRCP and Rabies vaxed and also microchipped. Many of us (cats/dogs) will be on display on Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent. Please ask by writing us at cats@zanisfurryfriends.org and following us on FB. If you are seriously interested in adopting one of us in particular, please fill out an application early Friday so that we can be sure to be there. Otherwise we decide based on other variables. Usually we are in our foster homes so this is a bit more stressful and a slightly artificial environment but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes too. Please come! It is extemely helpful and speeds up adoption if the application is filled out prior to visiting us so please do that before coming to our weekend events.
